madden curse

I was thinking about the rumor about larry being on the cover of madden 10 and what could be in store of him.. so here is a list of recent players that have been on the cover and the fall out because of the cover..

2009- BRET FAVRE- A collapse in the second half of the season caused the Jets to miss the playoffs after starting 8-3. Favre threw for six less touchdowns and seven more interceptions

2008- VINCE YOUNG- Tennessee made the playoffs but Young threw for nine touchdowns compared to 17 interceptions. Not to mention what happen this year.

2007- Shaun Alexander - Lowest totals since his rookie year. He injured his foot and missed six games. Even his yards per carry dropped by 8. Where is he now?

2006 - Donovan McNabb - Eagles finished in last place and McNabb was lost for the season in week nine

2005 - Ray Lewis - Didn't record an interception but other than that the curse didn't affect him

2004 - Michael Vick - Broken leg caused him to miss 11 games

2003 - Marshall Faulk - Stats declined to his worse numbers in eight seasons

2002 - Daunte Culpepper - 19 less touchdowns than the previous year and missed four games due to injury

2001 - Eddie George - Didn't break 1,000 yards

2000 - Garrison Hearst - Broken foot in playoff game caused him to miss two seasons..

If larry makes the cover he has 1 thing going for him..he will be the only player to have made both NCAA and Madden covers.

he won't get injured. Stop playing into the curse, like its something thats destined to happen.

He may not break 1,000 yards, but the Cards have 3 elite WR's, and if he goes down, then you still have 2 elite WR's. granted Fitz is the best WR as of now, but the starting wr's on the cards are TOP 10. All of em with over 1,000 yard season last year, and somewhat of a good running game.

Don't worry, if Fitz happens to get injured, or not put up the numbers like he would, Breaston and Boldin will show up, assuming Boldin stays with the Cards.

I AGREE! all of this curse talk is just pure coincidental!

9 years is a lot to be for a coincidence...but i hope it keeps up just for talks sake lol. Not so big on the injuries thing but the bad season at least XD
