Ways to Help MS

Sorry about all the announcements lately, we have just really been trying to get better as a website. A lot of you have asked over the last few weeks, "How can I help MS?"

A lot of you have helped MS in unique ways.
A few examples just off the top of my head: yuck and the MSFL, crunk with videos, cj with amazing tips, swag by living in the chatbox 24/7, bigb and the sim section, eggz with running the site, fudgy with the site design and steady posting, ketcham as our lead writer, and our gfx team making great sigs for us.

I know i missed a lot of people but those were the people i thought of immediatly.

A lot of you arent in a position or are too new to our community to be given an oppurtunity to help us in ways that seem big. But there are a lot of little things that you might take for granted that help us.

Some ways to help MS:
1. Make MS your homepage
2. Try to make a few posts a day before you join us in the chatbox everyday
3. Bookmark MS
4. Have forum.madden-school.com as a quick message and hit up the lobbies while you are wating for a game.
5. Invite all your opponents after a game to join team MS
6. Be active in our leagues and play MS games
7. Put a link to MS in your sig on other websites that you are a part of
8. Visit a link located above the chatbox once a day
9. Welcome all new people and try help them get used to the site. Make them feel at home
10. Fill out your profile completly. It helps people know more about you.
11. Volunteer the ideas you have to an admin or moderator
12. Try to make topics and start discussions, do not be someone who just replies to others. Say something original.
13. Put links to MS on any website you are a part of that allows you to.
14. Make a few posts involving good plays that work well for you. We don't ask you to give away your gameplan or scheme, just post a play or 2 for others.

I know a lot of you already do many of these things. If you are looking for something to do when you are bored sitting in the chatbox, please do any of these. As a site, most of us just sit idly in the chatbox, which is great, but in order to truly become "da best" we have a lot of work to do.

Do you guys have a myspace or a facebook.I think that would be a great way to put the site out there.I just happened to run into the site by accident and Im glad I did.If you got or set it up let me know so I can get it and spread the word.

our post count has declined a lot...if everyone makes 2-5 posts a day the numbers would be so NICE!

Try not to be a dick to everyone, and come in the chatbox ALOT!

i think the main thing is to recruit. recruiting is the most crucial thing we can do. if all of the current active members could recruit at least one more person who becomes active, this site would see a boom. the more people we have the better the competition, the tips, the fun, the everything.

lol....well...for me....all i did was type in maddenschool and we come up. what's the best way?

forum.madden-school.com is the best way, cuz if you type in maddenschool.com, it will take you to a different website

I play games on gamebattles.com and every time I play someone I tell them to join this website to get more 360 players and I have this on my facebook as well and I tell my friends at school if they want to get better...

wat would help the site more is ideas to make us bigger posting and events...if we could get a steady number of events started and COMPLETED we would get more traffic more active members and make the site alot better

I could make graphics for big events here if you guys want

i always spam lobbys, and wen i beat some1 i tell em join madden-school lol

even though lobbies are a great way to get word out, it seems as if noone ever comes to the site that way.

it may seem like they dont but thats cuz not everyone tells us how they found us.. a few people this month have come in the chatbox and said someone was spamming ps3 lobbies... im sure there are others as well that come here but dont get in the chatbox and you just never will know how they found us.

Lobbys arent the most effective way, but they are easy. Just make a quick message that says forum.madden-school.com and something like free tips and tournaments. Just put it in the lobbies a few times before each game u play while you wait. People come because they read the name and are curious. It really does help.

they arent that effective but it is something that everyone can do to help out and it takes so little time or effort to do it. Even if we get 1 member for every 20 posts they make, we are in good shape.

And whie it may not get someone to join the first time someone posts it, it will get them eventually. If i see something in a lobby every time i go in to find a game, eventually i will become curious and check it out
