Shotgun 2RB 3 WR – RB Circles
a) Place the Outside WR’S on Curl Routes.
b) See if the defense is in Man or Zone Coverage. Snap the Ball.
c) Look for the Circle Routes, great against Zone Coverage, or the Curl Routes, against Man Coverage.
With the Curl Routes you want to Rocket catch, so throw a bullet with pass lead up
then hold the catch and down to the inside.
Single Back Twin TE WR: WR Screen
a) Use the WR Wing Package. Then Pick the Play.
b) Place the TE on a Curl Route, next to the offensive line.
c) Place the Right Outside WR to a slant going right.
d) Extend the Slant Route on the Right Outside WR.
e) Place the RB on a streak. Motion the RB left. Snap the Ball once the RB gets past the LT.
f) Zone, Roll to the right and look for your man on the screen or your TE on the
Curl or go for the Deep Ball with the RB.
g) Man, Roll to the right, look for the corner route with a bullet pass and down
going toward the sidelines or the TE on the Curl.
Shotgun 4 WR – HB Option
a) Make sure you place your tallest receivers in place, so when you audible they
both are in the slot WR positions.
b) Come out in any play from the I Form Twin TE and pick Jumbo Package.
c) Audible to Shotgun 4 WR – HB Option. Use the RB to help block.
d) Place the Left Outside WR on a slant towards the sidelines and extend his route.
e) Place the Right Outside WR on a Curl Route.
f) Snap the Ball.
g) Look for the Rocket Catch with the Slot WR’S on the streaks, wait until they
get about 20 yards. Hold down LT/L2 and throw a bullet pass up. If for some
reason these get covered the Curl Route and slant are great options.
Shotgun 5 WR – Hitch Posts
a) Place the Slot WR on a streak. Place the Far Left and Far Right WR’S on a Curl.
b) Snap the Ball
c) If defense is in Man and Zone, the look for the Slot WR on the Hitch Routes,
throw a bullet pass using precision pass going for the inside. The WR’S on the Curls
or the Slot WR on the Streak using the Rocket Catch.
