Music in Game

yea, I think they're preparing for it in like 2 updates or something, but there are some games that allow you to do that.

I can do it when I'm playing MLB 09 The Show...Not only does it play the music on my ps3 while I'm in in-game menus and what not, but it also gives me the option of turning off the commentators during the game and listening to my music as if it were being played in the speakers throughout the stadium...It's a pretty cool feature...

Also, on a different note, the game also allows you to customize the walk-up music for all your players as well as the music that plays when a player hits a home run...On top of that, you also have the option of recording your own chants and yells to insert in certain situations...So, let's say Vlad Guerrero comes up to bat (my favorite player)...During his at bat, it will trigger my recording that has me saying "Vladdy is my daddy"...pretty cool if you ask me...

Wow PS3 is really late... copying Xbox will help them with there sales.

as would free online for xbox.

this would be nice to add to the ps3, i wouldnt mind. nut if both users have this in, wat music would be played ?

i dont think online play will support it, i could see it causeing disconnection problems like they had with camera angles that they had to patch this year.

for those who dont know, ps3 already supported being able to play music in a game. it just depends on what game you have and if the developers featured it in their game.

To SDgator, I've played killzone online while listening to outkast. I had no probs. downloaded music has nothin to do with connection unlike camera angles. both players connection are linked with the camera angles because they are in the same game, having to use the same cameras. downloading music and playing it, is not part of the game, just another thing you downloaded on your hardrive.

I listen to music while I play my xbox all the time... And while I play online.

Tuki it doesn't play your music to the other players (unless I hold the headset to the speaker, which is fun to do).

i always listen to my own music on the 360 during games....unless i am talking on the mic (which is rare).

does anyone know if u can play music in madden 10...has anyone heard of that feature in 10.

when I'm on the line using power moves to throw lineman out of tha way. I think that song fits pretty well.

ok lemme set u guys straight. im like the ps3 tech around here lol. microsoft patent the technology to have in game music on any video game console. which means no console ever cn have the code it takes to play in game music on their system. but they cn have the code implemented on the gaes. so for ex sony already had the update for the in game music to play but they cnt make it for all games on their system b/c it would violate the patent. but developers can put the code on the disc thats not in violation of the patent. so lets hope these developers stop being lazy n put the code on their games. i hope that set every1 str8 on this whole ordeal. dats y sum games on the ps3 have it n sum dnt.
