Stopping the moition fade ?

How do I stop this when the guy im playing sends a WR in moition and on a fade and as soon as he motions them he snaps the ball and throws it. How do I stop this it always beats my cover 3 and also, my CB seems to not even react, like he's be 5 yards off when his WR catches the ball. Any help ?

this has never happened but.... ill go test it out and try to make it a d for it, u try cov 2?

You have to manually move the corner to the outside. You can still play cover 3, just move him out about 5 yards before he hikes the ball. Once you move him he will not move again unless you adjust your secondary. Send me a XBL FR and I will show you if you can't get it to work.

Try a Cover 2. I've been using cover 2 more than ever lately. Probably a good 5-7 times a game on average. I mostly use it out of the nickel and try to user cover the middle (in both width and depth) part of the field.

i might strt doing this, becuz most people jus love to hit the middle of the field wit short passes, and cov stops this pretty well

Man up the outside guy. You can't call a cover 2 because all the guy has to do is wait and throw it and get ten yards or more. If you call cover 3 or 4, he will just throw it as soon as he hikes it.

i use this play all the time and if someone stops me its their safety. a corner isnt gona stop this play. u gota move ur safetys towards the sidelines so hes cheating to the outside.. ill still beat it if u do that but a lot of people cant beat that if u cheat the safetys to the outside. the way to beat it if they cheat their safetys over is to wait a little longer and the receiver will get behind the safety and u can just lob it up to him and he will go get it. u need some preasure on this play too if u are gona defend it well.

whats worked pretty good for me was dime backs in purple zone and move ur 3rd or 4th CB from his normal spot towards the sideline that he motions him to. so he is just barely visible on the screen. That seemed to at least contain if not break it up. It will most likely cause him to look to another form of cheap play when he isnt breaking off big gains or breakin up his once easy completions.

true! or, you could try "shading" (coverage) your safeties to the outside without physically moving them from their spot...that way....your opponent won't know that they are actually playing the sideline. but remember to watch the deep middle with a LB in the Hook Zone (yellow).
