this is a great blitz setup found in almost all the playbooks.
the play is max sting 3 out of the dollar formation.
show blitz
pinch dline
shift your lb's to the left of screen.
put your LDE(right on screen) in a contain. can also put into a buzz zone to cover the flat/middle area on right...takes a little away from the pressure though.
user control the MLB and cover the middle/right area of screen, usually against the TE or a slot in a crossing route.
**optional - if you've had a chance to analyze his tendencies in passing, ie. throws to WR's outside, hits TE/WR/RB posts in the middle, flats...you can shift your secondary coverage to that area, the pressure gets there so quick, he only has time to do his first read, this can lead to picks real easy cuz on that
if used with or without pass commit (almost nano-like if used with pass commit and it's a pass) this blitz gets quick pressure on the QB. the waeskest part of the play is it leaves the flats WIDE open, so it should only be used in long distance situations.
