New Idea: 2v2 Play

I would like it if my friend and I could play on the same team online. This of course wouldn't be ranked (unless of course there was like a 2v2 mode online ranked which is a whole different concept not something bad to explore) but to start id like my friend to play unranked games with me online on the same team against someone else.
Maybe even if leagues come back that could be a cool little feature to allow or not allow.

To expand a bit on this post if necessary, there could possibly be like someone would be qb one half and switch if thats fair at half. If not the team could just pick or it could just be a play by play pick.
This of course would mean that Madden 2010 would have to be relatively glitch free so no cheese plays over and over but its a good idea in my eyes theoretically.

What do you guys think give me some pros and cons and what you think ill edit this post to put more in. Help me expand on this idea!
Also do you guys think this should be ranked, unranked, in league play, this is thinking it could work if you are for ranked games.

The lag would be insurmountable, and also an easy way to RC. All you do is let your opponent control WR, you make every other WR and TE block. he runs 20 yards downfield, and turns around, then you bullet it high. It seems too easy, and I think they'l leave it at 1v1. still a good idea, but not much of a thing wit EA.

Well realistically this is theoretical...so lag would be a problem in theory...also I believe rocket catch is being fixed in madden 10 isn't it? Im not exactly sure

nope plus when they throw the ball the reaction time will be wtf.


Everyone would tell everyone to block but the user controlled WR and QB and you can go in zig zags till ur open.

if someone was at your house you could play with them
orrr if you had two controlers you could pretend like two ppl are playing
there was a onside kick glitch or something too that could only be done with two players
