| Ok I played this high level guy who ran with the Giants, I ran with my favorite online team the Texans. Well he is using run n gun O. ALL GAME long all this guy does is FB dive with Jacobs and HB toss with Bradshaw out of Twin TE I Form. At first whenever I force him to pass he wasnt able to do much of anything with the passing game. But then he kept running and didnt have to pass cause Jacobs would get a good 5-6 yards everytime, no matter what d i called. Id contain, crash one way, crash middle, blitz, man, zone, 46, 4-3, Goaline (the worst), Dime (actually better than GL), i got so frustrated i just put punt formations out there as i gave up trying anything resembling any form of football. If i commited to the toss then that left the dive open and vice versa. Even when I did stop him on 3rd down he would just go for it everytime. And it was usually 4th and short everytime. It totally took the fun out of the game cause even tho I knew what he was gonna do it was almost impossible to stop. I mean I love those plays too. But i dont use them every play. I might use them Once or twice during a 7-10 play drive. What do you all think? Think its cheesy to use the same 2 plays over and over and over again? Or am I just butt hurt cause I couldnt stop it? | |

| tru tru i just had a game like that other day
he just used those to plays
.. im not sure to stop it consistently
but the 46 bear prolly slow it down
i just need to be sure on run commit
u have to wait for the toss or the fb run and also overload the side where the twin te's r | |

| ill have to try the overload next time. I did run 46 bear but i did not overload that side. I thought eventually he was setting me up for a play action pass. But he actually only did that like 2 times. Thats what I hate about players like that. U dont wanna give up the big play in the passing game but youll just get 4 yarded to death if u dont try to commit more. Oh well we know thats not how real ballers play. | |

| come out of punt block, and run commit to the inside. if its the toss, the QB should get hit b4 he tosses it, and the same thing should happen on dives and things. just man up on the WR. | |

| oh yea, I forgot to mention to blitz the LB's by hitting L2 and the right stick down. then run commit. it only works on the run tho, cuz for the pass the Dline shifts inside, and the 5 Olineman somehow stop 9 defensive players dead. | |

| so do u do this from punt block, punt block man, punt block safe? Ive seen people come out in the punt block formation before but ive never used it myself. I try to stick to somewhat realistic formations. But with everyone exploiting the weaknesses in this game u gotta do something i guess. | |

| These are the best 2 plays in the game. Yes, they are very cheap but I'd probably do the same thing if my opponent couldn't stopit... | |

| i understand where ur coming from but i dunno. I guess there are players who play to win at any cost and then there are players that enjoy actually playing a game that has some sort of realism (as much as u can get from a madden game) to it. I'd rather win a 17-14, 21-20 type of game where i had to come back or redzone stand to win the game than run same two plays over and over and win by a two or three scores or whatever. I dunno just how i feel. Im sure theres people who disagree with me. | |

| i don't feel like those two plays are cheap at all. they are extremely effective when run right and at the right time. | |

| Yeah, I thnk if you find a weakness in the D yo have to go after it. Since you couldnt stop him he prolly wanted the W | |

| Militant im not talking about the plays being cheap im talking about just running those two plays all game. Any one can do that. Thats not football. But yeah everyone knows this is madden and some people dont care about the experience. I feel yall on that. Maybe when it happens to you, you will see what im saying. I love those two plays i use them two but i try to play the game as a real team does by mixing it up. I could run the same two plays all game too. But i really dont see the fun in that. Yeah i like to win and thats my main goal. But i guess im just not that desperate for a W to make the game boring running 30-35 times in a game and only attempting 4 or 5 passes. Ive had games where i ran 20-30 times but ive usually still got about 10-15 pass attempts in there. Its just boring thats my feelings. Thats why i posted just wanna see how you all feel and if it gets to anyone else. | |

| Come out of punt block where every1 blitzes. hit tL2, or L1(IDK which) but it should allow you to blitz all ur LB's down by hitting the right stick down. Take control of the Kick returner and move him infront of the #1WR, run commit INSIDE, and you should have him beat. | |

| heres how you shut it down pick the 46 playbook 46 inside blitz 1.fake blitz 2.reblitz both dt's 3.control the free safty and bring him to the middle of the line so you can react to the run manully 4.use run commit just see were the ball goes and wait for the last minute to run commit if its a toss run commit to w/e side he does the toss on 5.you can pinch the dline to completly shut the fb dive down but watch out for the toss to shut down the toss use 46 normal outside rush 1.fake blitz 2.crash the line to the outside 3.pinch the dline 4.reblitz both dt's 5.bring the fs down to the line and watch for the run | |
