Thunder Acquire Chandler From Hornets

Oklahoma City Thunder Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations and General Manager Sam Presti announced today that the team has acquired center Tyson Chandler from the New Orleans Hornets in exchange for forward Chris Wilcox, forward Joe Smith and the draft rights to DeVon Hardin.

“We are pleased to welcome Tyson Chandler to the Thunder organization,” said Presti. “We are excited to add a young, defensive-minded big man that we feel can help us now and in the future. Tyson has ties to the Oklahoma City community and we are excited to have him with us as we continue to build our organization.”

actually hes only averaging like 8 points 8 rebounds so its not that bad now that i sit back and look at it

wow the thunder got a crazy steal in this trade. add him with durant and jeff green, they wont be alot better, but they will suprise some people

yea thats the only reason i could think of, for financial reasons

My thoughts exactly! Paul gets 5 to 6 assist a game to Tyson a game on alley oops. This would have been a disaster trade if the deal hadn't been "resident" meaning the trade was revoke due to Chandler failing his physical. I think Paul made a call to Tyson... said don't pass it, I won't you back! Reports were he wasn't happy about the trade.

OKC didnt want Tyson no more cuz i think he didnt pass his physic

because of his sprain ankle

so GOODD.. Tyson stayin... New orleans styll in the playoffs now

Tyson is a rebounder only. He has no post game and has good D, but he can only catch alley oops. Joe Smith would have been a lot better for this team.
