I traded madden today and with great dignity. I had enough of this game, ans used its credit to reserve killzone 2. So until 2010. Peace

This is the only game i would never trade in.. But i guess not everyone feels the same

I traded it in cu the game is just simply unrealistic. This ain't football, this ain't even madden. This is NFL street. When I look back in the past at games such as NFL 2k5 and madden 08 on ps2, I say "now this is football". But I cant say that about this madden. Look at how fluke the physics engine is. Look at how you can stop recievers on the dime on a streak, and run them backwards in front of the corner and do a 90ft vertical jump for a huge gain almost everytime. Look at how the stats don't matter, how you can put anybody at runnin back and they'll be able to truck over your LB and fight and push forward against bigger guys for extra yardage, DESPITE the hit showing that they were originally getting pushed back from the 1st down. So where did the sudden force to push the defender off come from? And then theres the biggest problem of all; the chess match. Theres no more out smartin your opponent and puttin the players where they need to be. No, because now everyone uses the same plays over and over again to win games, and they'll do it regardless of what defense you come out of because they know it will always work.
Thats why I quit madden. The game sucks. I can't even compete no more. Before everyone learned that RC crap, I was killin them. Before everyone started usin the same plays that keep givin you trouble no matter what you do, I was killin them. And don't get me wrong, I'm not complainin about how I cant win no more. Im just statin out facts and why I had put down the game. Its because of the lack of realism. This game doesn't match my style of play, which is straight sim.

PS: Notice how almost all the sim players struggle against the cheese.

I am a straight player, no rocket catch r Direct snap or FB glitch any of that. I know what you mean. I hate playing ppl who do those plays every time

How about just doing them period? RC shouldnt even be in the game.

D@mn IProb I never thought I would you see you quit madden like this. Even with all the BS I still think is one of the better maddens just because you dont have any of the stupid glitches like past maddens. Yea the rocket catch is tough but it is better then getting DC'd every other game or that damn quick pass or any of the other BS that was in the past maddens. This is the first year where I didn't have to join a league to enjoy online play.

Once the novelty factor of madden wears off, it begins to just piss everyone off... Some people have their limits that they get pissed/bored with it quicker than others...

Me I don't really play much anymore, I just pretty much chill out and play it with a friend over or somethin...

madden is the reason i own a ps3. its been the reason i have owned any gaming system since Sega Genesis back in 93. Yeah it the realism and bs gets a little annoying at times but for me madden is on my ps3 about 75% of the time. I get other games that come out between madden launches. they keep me busy maybe for a few days but it always comes back to madden. U can always just ask for a sim St8 game too. If they dont honor that u have their profiles cleared, it violates EAs terms of service. but i guess everyone has their limits.

yo iprob i agree wit everything u said caus those are my problems as well...ive found myself trying to user catch jus to stay where i am at on my madden skills to compete and i feel like s*** for doin it...i agree that there is no chess match most the time and ppl find like bitchmade s*** in the game to be successfull caus they dont wanna put in the work to read coverages and come up with a gameplan that u can take on the field if u where asked to coach a highschool game...everyone is has there own style but as long as that style comes with a sense of knowing football then im down with it...i tired of lossing to ppl finding flaws in the game regardless of how minor they are like sudden momentum ships of players goin backwards then forwards...they put the footwork feature in the game to only apply to who has the ball really caus stoppin a wr and turnin them around is some bullshit but wen fitzgerald does it but flying backwards not straight up...i believe in user catching but there should be a momentum aspect of the game as well...honestly ncaa's user and sideline catch is way way better than madden...if ppl had any heart and integrity to play as if they wanted to coach the game would be exactly like the programmers intended it for instead ppl resort to tricks little flaws in the game to get the upper hand on someone who put in the work to play the game how it is intended

i understand 100% how u feel iprob but trading in this game would be like throwing my station out of my car goin down the highway driving 80mph but i understand how u feel caus ifeel the same way my dude.

I definitely agree 100% with what both Buddah & Iprob said. As a sim player and some who loves football I just can't get myself to RC or any other BS. I have played all the madden online editions and so I have seen much worse sh*t than the 09 RC so it doesn't really bother me that much when someone else does it. I mean it use to be if it was 3rd and long throw a corner route and it was an automatic 1st down even if there were 5 defenders surrounding your wr.

I will say that the RC is performed way more by people on this site than if I goto to play now and challenge someone. I am a level 25 so I usually play people around my level and most of the time I don't come across the RC and if I do it is very limited. I noticed lately at MS evertyone is using the RC alot. I played KMzGold and he had more RC in one game then all the non MS players I played for the entire month. That was basically his whole offense.

I'm not mad at people who do it. Because no matter what there will always be BS in the game every year so you better go ahead and get your mind right. If the BS is causing that much stress in your life you shouldn't be playin madden. When I play I don't care if I win or lose hell look at the teams I play with. I started with the Browns then went to Texans now I run with the Bengals. I feel my scheme is good enough to beat anyone no matter what type of tactics they pull out of their a$$.

You just can't let madden get to you its just a game. Enjoy it for what it is and play your style.

its not even just about the RC, I mean the whole gameplay of this madden sucks period. Horrible physics, horrible animations, statistics not mattering, just everything. until this game gets back to how it was on ps2, this game will continue to be horrible.

Id have to disagree. I thought they did a good job this year. But everone has theri own opionions. To win you have to adapt.
