Im going to break down 5 plays that will get you yards, if done correctly.
FL screen - This play is designed to break down the blitz, but since
most good players know that the screen is in this formation, they will
manually guard him, so here's what you do. motion your receiver to
left, and hike the ball as soon as he gets to the TE. You can also
motion one of your receivers on the left to the right, and make him
block. also, if he's playing a LB or DE, you can wait for your #2 WR to
run his route, because he'll be open if you move around a little.
Corner Threat - This play can break down CERTAIN coverages, but not all.
Setup: package this as WR strong. hot route your #2 WR to do a streak,
so that your WR on the corner route has no one guarding him. Motion
your TE to the left. put your #3 WR(WR in the #1 WR slot) on either a
slant, or keep him on the curl route.
HB Screen - this is another tricky play because the DE will actually
guard the HB instead of blitzing, but we can get around that.
Setup: substitute a tackle for your TE, and sub your TE in for your #3
WR. Motion your TE(the tackle) to the right, so it looks like its
shotgun 4WR. hot route your #3 WR(TE) on a curl. control your RB, and
once the ball is hiked run all the way to the right, or call for the
ball IMMEDIATELY. What this does is it allows you to hit turbo as soon
as you can, and the HB doesn't stall at the beginning.
HB Option - this play is good for those short yardage situation,
typically because people like to come out in cover 2, and you can bet
em' deep, or get em' with a short completion.
Setup: Put your #2 WR on a streak, or fade route. Hot route your #1 WR
to do a slant OUTSIDE. motion your #1 WR to the left, and hike the ball
when he gets toward the TE. This play is obviously for the HB, so make
sure he's your first look, before any one else.
PA QB Choice - This is one of my favorites because of the route that are in play.
Setup: motion your #2 WR to the right. hot route your #2 WR on a curl.
Hot route your TE to block(you might want to sub in a tackle for better
blocking) Hike the ball, Scramble out to the right, and either your #2
WR will be open, or your #3 WR will be open.
Good Luck with these plays. Feel free to PM me, or post ur questions here.
