good money play

in the run n gun pb under 4 wr.
the play is called hb option. it can kill cover 2 and is even more deadly if they are not covering the flats.
setup: the only thing u need to do is put Y on a drag as your last read.
your first look should be to the RB out of the backfield. if hey breaks to the outside throw it to him immediately cuz u will get an easy 10-20 yards. your next look should be the slot guy on a streak. if they are in cover 2 it will almost always be a completion.
next your read is the number 1 wr running a deep in route. if the middle is open then throw it to him. the last read is the drag rout that will usually be open for 5 yards.
this is a great play for 2nd and 10 and 3rd and 10 cuz it can get you short yards as well as big yards.

doesnt have a deep post so i wouldnt consider it money

and no one will run cover 2 in a 4 wide set .. only if dere in the redzone

when i do it, it usually works all the time because if the rb isnt open then the drag will be open

ye try ur setup ... but i think its better if u put A on the drag instead on Y

hb flare is the same as this play then, it has 4 really good reads

Moss81, yes it is MONEY! one of my favorite pass plays in MADDEN. Make sure when running this play that your HB has a high awareness rating. IF he doesnt, he might be running trough zone and sitting vs man, when he should be doing the opposite. The play is very effective, and one play in MADDEN that is used on all levels of play.

While on the subject of option routes, the high awareness rating goes for all of your recievers running the option route. In order for them to be effective, the players running these type of routes must have a high rating in that category.

RUN THE HELL OUT OF THAT PLAY!!! IT IS MONEY INDEED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Its not money. There is going to be someone open all the time depending on several factors:

1. Coverage
2. Time in pocket/Pressure
3. Receivers available in a pass.

This is for all of your plays.

But no one rarely has perfect pressure, timing, and coverage.

haha if those are the three factors to consider a play "money" then no play would be considered "money" cuz ppl can get pressure quicker than someone can run a deep post....and deep post can be stopped....but i do think the HB option play is a very effective play just have to make the right reads...but if the reads are made correctly its a completion every time

well, for those of you who say itis not money, fine. But hell, it has been MONEY for me, maybe I am doing something wrong lol! HELL OF A PLAY! RUNTHE HELL OUT OF IT!

If it is money for you MOSS, it doesn't matter what the hell the rest of us think, although I agree with you, and will continue to run this play. I forgot to say that sometimes I make several adjustments, not always, but sometimes I will tag the play with a curl/flat concept, vertical concept, shallow concept, or even a mesh concept. Most of the time I leave the play alone. I have even hot routed a reciever on a post, (there is your money lol) I love the hell out of this play! And have you noticed its in almost every playbook for the last 3 years?
