4-3 Over Smoke Mid Zone

i wrote up my whole defensive scheme finally, and i think im gonna sell it for madden cash because people have been complaining about that for a while. here is one of my easy blitzes that i use for middle pressure. 5 man rush, 6 men in coverage.

4-3 over - Smoke Mid Zone

- spread lineman out
- pinch linebackers in and reblitz the MLB and LOLB (right side of
screen) and put them DIRECTLY on the LOS, like you're making them
lineman basically.
- manually bring the SS to the middle of the field.

wat book is this is multi D

its in the 46 book, i know that. not sure about multi d. probably the 4-3 book. maybe cover 2 as well.

yeah... its got 3 yellows and 3 blues... so it helps to have a DE who can swat a pass.

i got a safety with this in a MS game yesterday. the pressure comes instantly right down the middle, pinching with counter this blitz, and if a RB is staying back to block he will pick up the free blitzer about 50% of the time.

I got killed by Brandon Jacobs on this play.

you gotta be able to stop the run with user pursuit, if you don't have user pursuit you don't have anything.

not to mention any play you ever use EVER will have a counter or a weakness. i hope you don't think any one who posts a play is suggesting you use it constantly.

and if you're going to use a play in a real game, ALWAYS LAB IT FIRST. never just go in there thinking you can execute without doing it before.

I was trying it on either 1st and 10, or 2nd-3rd and short. What is the best situation to use it in?

2nd or 3rd and 8+

its not good against an RC though.
