FG block rule

I don't think this is a bad rule in any way, but we need to lessen it some. what if its the 4th quarter, and your opponent is about to kick the extra point that puts him up 2 scores. why can't we block that? if your opponent is about to take the game winning FG, why can't we block that. I think that there should be situations where we're allowed to block FG's and XP's. I don't see it as right for every1 to have watch themselves lose or go down by more than 1 score because we're not allowed to block FG's. I think we should give this rule a look over.
