Cardinals defensive help

Hey guys,

I was wondering if anyone could help me out with the cardinals on defense. obviously, i use the cardinals for there offense but i need some help with there defense. right now i use the 46 playbook but im willing to change. please help!

what kind of plays do u like running on D....C3....C2.....blitz......or man

well i usually switch depending on the situation. like cover 3 for 3rd and long, uncover 2 for short passing situations and usually blitz to stop run

I know 3-4 has cover 3 and cover 2 in normal package.....also has some good blitzes....

well my problem is like i understand the cardinals defense isnt that great but i need help

I would try to find the strongest part of ur D and if safties and CB try running a 3-4 but if D line u might want to run a 4-3 or nickel

ya its deff safeties and with DR-Cromartie at CB ill prob run the 3-4 what are some money plays outta there?

I like running 3-4 and having linemen crash middle on 1st and second downs. On third and long I usually contain with DE. Also I use cover 2 out of it and works good on short passing downs but TE streak will kill it. And has Renegade which I use when I am SURE my opp will run the ball. This formation also gets a good amount of pressure for 3 DE

by DE contain do you mean both DE's or just one? also, contain the QB or what? by crashing the middle you mean L1, down on right analog?

both DE contain and that's just L1 and up on right analog.....yea by crashing I mean L1 and down......Also if they are beating u with the blast when running this formation pinch D line and use contain so looks like u stopping dive and DE will usually stop RB for a 1 yard gain.

If you run the 4-6 put Berry at DE and put Karlos Dansby at LOLB and move Hayes up to MLB.

L1 and up on right analog is D-Line out instead of crash not contain...

oh ok gotcha who do you play with? also what play do you run most?

I use SD and play for O or D.....if D I like the cover 3 the most unless I start getting hurt in the middle then I switch back and fourth between Cover 2 and Cover 3

what about stopping the run? you still use cover 3

yea with D line crashing it stops the run easily and my corners keep the sweeps contained but like I said b4 the blast kills me so I usually pinch line {L1 left down} then contain with line so my DE shoot the guard tackle gap.

Cards D seems terrible to me.
Everytime I face someone who uses them I can run more free than god.
I've racked 2 straight 200 rushing yards against the cards.

I used to use the cards and I tried 3-4 and 46 and had better luck with 3-4. I would run 3-4 Stack( Cover 3, and there's a few man blitz's in there that are good)
