hail mary

i faced a guy about a week ago who was doing hail marys every time and it couldnt be stopped. i think he hot routed his outside recievers on both sides to fades and then motioned one of the slot recievers toward the tackle and hiked it right when he got there. The thing is that there was somebody open every single play. Either one of the outside recievers or his slot guy he motioned was wide open. And if i came out in cover 4 his rb would catch it in the flat. idk if that was the exact setup of the guys play but i know that is pretty close to it. has any1 seen this before?

ive never seen it but from wat u said it sound that it could like only be stopped in prevent.

prevent wouldnt stop the rb in the flats and his rb would get 20 yards everytime if he played prevent.. i woulda played cover 4 and user my fastest safety.. i forget what formation but there is a cover 4 that has the flats covered as well and has contain so thats probably the play i woulda ran against it..

Cover 4 outta quarter. Control the FS and get those user picks all day
