Triggering the WAR Catch

this is what you've been waitin for. to trigger the WAR catch, follow these steps:

1. put one of your outside WR's on a fade(preferably a tall WR. he can be a TE if you'd like)

2. make sure your inside the 40 yard line(from your endzone so that he catches the ball in the endzone because thats the only place where he amkes this catch)

3. hike the ball, and wait for the WR on the fade to get about 10 to 15 yards downfield and throw a LOB.

4. take control of the WR and run AWAY from the red circle(you have to run at somewhat of an angle, so you running away doesn't have to be drastic. you don't need to go out of bounds then run back in, but if that helps you then its fine) until you get about 10 yards from the circle. Once you get to that point where your about 10 yards away from that red circle, move the left analog stick at a 10/2 or 11/1(these are clock directions, so if you don't know what I'm talkin about then look at a clock and see where these numbers are) direction(it has to be to the inside, so if you throw it to the right, move the stick up and to the left). if done correctly, your WR should't even move that much to the inside, but instead stay moving forward. if done correctly, then your catch animation should look like this

I have to make this clearer. When I use this, you need to make sure your in front of the circle(when I say in front of, I mean you'd still need to be running to get behind it to do a lob RC) you need to do this because if you do, you should be able to get the catch, and prevent the defender from swatting it.

Despite how cool this catch looks, Ill bet it also results in interceptions against skilled players therefore = not for me.

na, no INT's while doing this against skilled players. if you look at my last couple of games you can see I've won then by a nice margin because I don't make redzone mistakes.

I know you and Mili tryna help, but I can see where Mcnair is kinda comin from. it looks like it'll cause some picks, but seeing as he didn't try it, he didn't know that you won't get any if you don't be dumb and use it on the 1. also, he's the best and has the best stick skills, I think not.

yo.... ive never seen a clock that says 10 by 2.... you mean 10 and 2? and if so, does that mean start at a 10:00 direction and move to a 2:00 direction? or do you mean a 10 to 2 and 11 to 1 (10:2 and 11:1)?

i wanna lab wit someone that knows how to do this catch....if someone knows how to and wants to lab and show me how hit me up...thanks

this catch is sick....ive been able to do it in prac mode wit a D but cant seem to catch it in a game....but i can trigger it....the catch looks tight tho...thanks crenshaw
