0-16? Let me know what ya think.

I dont know how the Lions can go 0-16 with the team they have. Granted Matt Millen was a horrible GM, they still had a few building blocks and a few decent role players. Calvin Johnson is THE face of the franchise. Kevin Smith looks like he will be a productive back. I just dont know how their defense can be last in the league after the offseason they had last year. If you pick up Brian Kelly, Dwight Smith, and Leigh Bodden for your secondary in one offseason, your team should not end up dead last in the NFL in defense and should not only have 4 interceptions all year. All I have to say is they better have a good draft this year with 2 first rounders, 2 thirds, and 2 fifths, and also after an 0-16 season. They need to bolster the O-line, get a qb, bolster the D-line, and a couple linebackers. Let me know what ya think

They should have had a better season. They blew a lot of games though. I think they had like a 17 point lead over TB but then completly blew and lost big.

now...the lions did go 0-16...and that is HORRIBLE! however....if they don't bring in a coach that has a "WINNING MINDSET" to create a winning culture in that organization and city (besides basketball and hockey).....then it won't matter about the caliber of players that you have there. take the 49ers for example. another horrible team...UNTIL...singletary took over. although it was late in the season....they were able to get a few victories under his leadership because he does not tolerate losing or losers. as a result...they just hired him as the permanent coach. that is what detroit needs!

P.S. my Ravens could use Calvin Johnson....send him over!

That is true. They should have won at least a few games. They were in so many of them. It seemed as if they had a really good first quarter or first half and a terrible 2nd half or they started off horrible and got down by so much that in the 2nd half they actually started playin but were down by so much already, they couldnt make a complete comeback.

I dont think we could give up Calvin. If we gave him up we would be REALLY horrible. He is all we got on offense right now. Sorry lol

Well depends on how they draft. But if they got rid of Calvin and played with the same team as this year, then yes I agree!

tell me how roy williams was an elite WR in Detroit but now in dallas is horrible....i understand he's in a new offense but its the Wr pos and its easy to adjust to playbooks....and i know dallas is a mess right now but still this guy was a waste in dallas the second half of the season....i thought for sure that this would put dallas over the top but glad to see them home for th playoffs

To tell you the truth I thought he would take him over the top too cuz he is a great reciever, but I personally think it was the system and how much of a mess the Cowboys are in. They have T.O. wanting the ball every throw and then Witten at tight end and Hurd, Austin, and Crayton who all can play. So I think it was just hard for him to get completely into the playbook.

He's bad in Dallas because he has to contest with TO and Witten over catches and Tony Romo and the cowboys r OVER RATED

he didnt have as much competition in detroit tho...just Calvin pretty much

Yea but the receptions were pretty spread out in Detroit now in Dallas he is not getting the ball enough to make an impact.

Yea it helped when Martz was there for a couple years and passed 90/10 and this year when Calvin is the only receiver

hopefully the lions wont waste it on a QB and throw him in there so he can ruin his career. They need to build the team from the ground up. Draft a beast OL (guy from alabama) and then go after the D-Line. They got a good RB, good WR, they just need a good OLINE and defense.

they had so many chances to win, like against tb they were winning 17-0 n still lost

yeah i think they do well because most of the time there trailing so you gotta throw the ball and when calvin is on the other side your goin to be one on one cuz he is a beast and i would say he and larry are the top 2 wide receiver and andre johnson those 3 no particular order

better hold on for calvin, because he doesnt look like he's gonna stay

i hear you DC! the Ravens need to make a move on TJ Houz, Chad Johnson or Calvin Johnson if they become available. like ASAP! both CJ's would compliment Flacco's strong deep ball arm.
