Your Madden New Year's Resolution

Got this idea from The Madden Voice, but it should work here.

What is it that you want to start working on for the rest of the year?

I am going to start making reads like Peyton Manning, and stop forcing passes.

I want to make my D shutdown all day everyday since offense is easy :]

Im gonna open up my running game a little more

Completely eliminate interceptions. I don't throw many, but I still force a pass every now and then that costs me. The way I play O, it has to be mistake free to work.

yes dude... thats what im talkin about.

we should lab sometime M.C.. what i'd like to do is have someone just run the same defenses over and over on each drive so i can really get a feel for it (anything effective from nanos to f@g D).... and hopefully create some innovative routes.

i have a problem with trying to force the pass over the middle and getting it picked

i am going to do a few thing. they are:

1. pic ONE offensive & defensive playbook and...STICK WITH IT!

2. focus on making better reads offensively.

3. improve my defense. i gotta make people online FEAR playing against my B-Raves!

4. play more to the Ravens style and not try to make them into something they are not

try to pass alot better to open up the run game more.......

try not to get pissed off at madden AI that causes me to struggle when im not used to even having slightly bad defense

Work in my running game. My Pass Game is top-notch . If i can work in my running game i'd be unstoppable.

oh i remembered 2 more i need to work on.

the first one is an old bad habit of mine: STOP TRYING TO HIT STICK EVERYONE, EVERY TIME. i always try to get the big hit, my timing has gotten better, i use it way early so i usually get the tackle (and a big one at that), but a lot of times i just completely whiff and i can give up any where to an extra 5-99 yards. its just that... i can cause a lot of fumbles, so i try to... but i shouldnt.

2nd: STOP GOING FOR THE USER INTERCEPTION. or rather, start labbing it so I know when to go for it, and when to just hit deflection. theres plenty of times when i see a pass that i dont think will be a reception, so i switch on to my defender and go for the interception. theres only some situation i get the int, the rest of the times i give up a BIG reception on what would have been an incomplete pass.

STAY ON THE MADDEN-SCHOOL TOP 15.... we're getting a lot of people so we expanded the rankings to the top 15. so i BETTER stay on that or i'll be hella disappointed.

I need to get my user skills up, too.

I only go for the INT instead of trying to swat the ball when I know I have another defensive person beside me incase I wiff I don't get burned

Learn a new team cause injuries kill me with Philly...

Manage the game better...

Start reading defenses...

Also I haven't been running the ball enough and the only time I can seem to run well is out of the I and there aren't enough pass plays in that formation so whenever I use it my opponent just put 8 or 9 in the box and stops it
