The Best 2 pt Conversion Play

shotgun 5wr
pick any play
hot route every WR to do a curl route
smart route all the curl routes
this play is unstoppable if you make the right choice and hit the correct man

the defense can hope to stop it by getting extra quick pressure but it sounds pretty good.

i gotta try this tactic out.

i think run commit stops this, actually.

im not a big fan of 5 WR for short situations. but hey, if it works for you... more power.

im very hesitant when people go 5 wide for a 2pt. I usually think theyre going for a QB draw, so I could easily get burned by the pass.

Could I just do the same thing out of 4 wr?

I'm pretty sure I don't have a 5 wide set haha...

yeah but that 5th WR is an easy target.

and if someone comes out in 5 wide the run commit DOES work. itll bring your corner and safeties up, although someone can still rocket catch on you.

this is actually a real easy play to RC.

try a lob, not the softest/slowest lob, but a lob nonetheless.

then switch to your receiver, run him down towards the QB RIGHT BEFORE you press and hold triangle. good 2 points for sure.

I still need to learn to RC, i never really put forth the effort

theres actually a play in 5 wr set that has everyone in curls.. its the gun 5 wr: spacing i use that play or the qb sneak for 2 pt conversions.. on spacing everyones on a curl except ur fifth wr he is on the diagional curl to the middle.. i dont know what u call it.. he just goes diagionaly to the middle for about 3 yards and turns facing the qb.. i use this play but i do audible him into a curl smart route cuz hes usually the one open and if i have him in the middle its possible the line jumps and bats the ball down.

i use this play all the time too but i still never remember to try it on a 2pt conversion try... probably just cuz no one has stopped the qb sneak or spacing when i use them...

I either go a snugs flip pass or run.

My 2 point defensive play would eat up the all curls thing.

Would someone please explain what makes this play so good? I'm sure this is a noob question, but thanks in advance.

The fact that AI is bad in covering short hooks anyways and when your at 2 yard line and u have 5 short hooks its impossible to stop.
