I feel so awesome...

I just had a full 10 minute game winning drive. Took up the entire 2nd half to score (on purpose) and scored the TD on a WR slant to TO from the 3 at the last second. then, instead of tying it up with the extra point I went for 2. I user blocked for The People's Choice and he walked in for the win. My opponent was so pissed. The time of posession was 15:27-4:33.

were u milking the clock down to 1 ???

well yeah he would have too cuz he said he made the clock go down to the last min

Yeah, I knew I wouldn't be able to stop him on defense because he was tearing me apart so I purposely had the longest drive ever.

that would make me furious...ESPECIALLY if you were using the cowboys

he should of attempted to strip the ball because even if he face masked oyu it wouldn't be a bad thing for him.

No, I had a 20 something play drive.

did u only run up the middle or do everything to stay inbounds.

I had a turd run the whole 1st half down on his first possession.. But I showed him!!

I agree ketch. I hate when people run the clock to 0 the whole game. Usually when people do that they know the opponent is alot better then them, or they cant stop any1.

I start to milk the clock in the 2nd and 4th quarter and try to get the last points before half and before the end of the game

I ran all types of plays, I just stayed in bounds.

I don't see how clock control is cheese....

It's strategy, if you can't stop the offense don't let him have the ball...

That's what real coaches do...

It isn't cheese but It usually is not fun either. No huddling and clock milking both fall in that same category. I have only milked the clock like that twice without my opponent having done it to me first. Once was because I was playing an obvious cheater and once was because I was playing some bum who was succesfully bombing it to Moss all game and that was all he had.

I'll admit, he was better than me and I would have lost if I had given him the chance, so I didn't give him the chance.

You play to win the game
you dont play to play fair and be all humdy dumb
and if its your strategy to keep the balll and not let your oppenet have it then hey its prob a good decsion if there realy good.

u should feel a lil ashamed... to take up 10 mins is milkin the clock with 1 drive... if that makes u feel that great that sux!!! such a cheese move to me!!

Honestly If you think milking the clock is cheese you are playing the wrong game. You are playing a football game, and one of the greatest strategies in Football. You would probably enjoy a game like Halo ,

I don't understand, I only let the play clock down to like 20 or 15 every time, most of the time because I was still deciding what play to run. If he could have stopped me, he would have gotten the ball back.

as long as your not calling a play 5 seconds into the play clock then letting it run down to 2 or 3 before calling your play its not that bad.
