Deep Post Counter

I just took for granted that the way to stop that never ending post route was in here. apparently it isn't, here is how i stop it:


just do a cover 3 and press triange and up on the right stick for ps3. (coverage audible+ up on right stick for 360) it works everytime for me.

Thanks Mod! that play has been a real annoyance to me for a while.

Just one more question. Do you know if there is a specific formation that it is out of so that I can try to predict when it is coming?

there are a bunch of formations, they are in every playbook in a lot of different formations. sorry i couldn be more helpful

Ya but I have noticed that a lot of peeps have their favorite 1. So watch that formation when they do it.

Ummmmm....how does that equate to the 36o?

it is the coverage audible where you spread your safeties towards the sideline. so probably Y and up on the right stick, but i am not sure

Does it have to specifically be Cover 3, or can it be any kind of 3 deep play?

i have alot of trouble wit this play unless i guard against it myself its like a blown coverage but i can never seem to throw it lol...the corner ends up chasing that wr all the way across the field and no other safety picks em up even in cover 4...its hard to predict it unless it happens to u 1 time then u can do jus do it every time but ill try that mod..thanks for the tip

I just click on the closest guy to dive tackle the QB, cuz they usually always roll out. people love to use snugs flip for the PA X clown play and SG trips TE cuz there are about 3 plays that can get it out of there.

i love the SG: Trips TE out of the RnG playbook. i have about 4 plays in that formation that i really like to use.

doing back off coverage doesn't work for me...

But 3 deep press works somewhat.

If you have good user skills, you could just be the deep safety and wait for it.

i use the PA X Clown a lot and the way i get around what ur sayin u do is i slide protect to the right and before i roll out that way i step up in the pocket then roll out.. it works agiast anyone that likes to crash their line out cuz the middle is wide open for me to run if i wanted but i usually have my deep post open so im not gona run i just run up in the pocket and out right stops people from sackin me all the time when they try to dive at my feet from the right side.

Against PA X Clown just send your defensive line to the right because the QB will scarmble that way for an easy sack and just user the Deep Pass because you know that is his ONLY look.

the MOST COMMON one is out of shotgun 3 WR, 1 RB, and 1 TE set in which all 3 WRs line up on one side of the field.
