how are you guys locking up curl routes? more specifically, players that just throw those the entire game?

I usually pick plays like cover 2 or 3 and put my left and right ends on the pink routes and then spread my D-line. It shuts down the curl routes for me. I also usually play as a line backer or corner back to cover the flats.

I only throw to my curl routes if they're in man coverage because the defender always (or mostly) is behind the receiver. I don't like throwing curls in zone defense.
