too many mods

i feel that we have too many mods and have other people complaing, wanting to be mods. i feel that only the people that have been here for at least a couple months with a couple hundred posts should be mod. i'm alright with people getting exclusive but i think we need to clean up our mods group.

first of all

wii mods: none have over 120 posts. mix doesn't even have 20 but being a mod he has the same level of goodness( i can call it that) as members that are very active. i personally dont think we need a wii mod group until the wii community here is larger.

ps2 mods: Barely anybody on here still plys ps2 and ll of the ps2 mods are even active.

Next gen mods: this group looks pretty good except for pass_The_chronic with only 202 posts. and hes never on.

Ncaa mods: i dont really think we need these either. duketango has a cople hundred posts but a lot of spam. NCAA guru is obsessed with NCAA but rarely ever on this site.

i think we can pretty much get rid of the lab crews because nothing happens in them. if u wanna lab just tell people in the chatbox.

Head mods list looks good.

As far as admins go sweetness only has a hundred posts. i dont know if hes a founding father of this site or what but hes never on.

I disagree.

The only thing i agree with is the inactive mods

The rest...we just need to build on, the PS2 stuff should be kept for at least a year.

I'm sure Mod wants as many members as he can get for this site. This is suppose to be a collaborative effort from the whole Madden community. That means all aspects. So far, he has done a good job. These decisions should be exclusively his (or at least his and other admins).

We shouldn't cut anything out. The more to offer the better.

sweetness was one of founding fathers i was here at the beginning

sweetness was a founding father of the site and he is in the military.

we will see. i love the input though. If you want a moderator spot just let me or fudgy know. probably fudgy, since he is on here a lot more than i am right now. If you can do a better job than whoever the current guys are then the job is yours as long as the admins and head mods are ok with you. Also, like barrack obama said, "its time for a change" so we will be changing up the lower moderator positions based on who is active but we need to know you are interestred.

fudgy said not to long before he will give me a head mod position. he said i needed to get an avatar (lol) and some more posts.


One thing i would like to see tho is a couple of the members that are in the chatbox a lot, get chatbox mod powers just so they can clear the screen and stuff so it doesn't keep jumping up.

But a lot of the members in the chatbox suck at using it.

I for real think too many people keep asking to be a mod.

If you were sweet enough they'd ask you when the time comes.

my sentiment exactly. people really care about being a mod, like REALLY. i dont even see the extra mile some of these people think theyve put in.

Admins, and Head mod's should be the only ppl with chatbox admin powers. Some people abuse it

why do people want to be Mods so badly????? man....i am just enjoying the site and what it has to offer. this is a great place!
