One of my base cover two plays which i worked to perfection I will share.
Its simple adjustments.
1.delayed bump
2.Spread line, crash out on pass, crash in if you think run.
3 With the line spread, you need to crunch the linebackers in the middle.
4.Now the tip to remember.
You need to highlight the outside corners and put them in 'purple' zones (instead of light blue 'flat') Sometimes do one, sometimes do both. The corner will cover the flat well, but will also cover the corner post and leave a better transition coverage from corner to safety.
5. audible middle LB'r into deep blue zone. I control the middle LB in this setup to cover the run, short pass, and deep middle. Mastering using the Middle LB in the cover 2 is key, because the soft spot will now be deep midle, and in the T2, thats the MLB job.
