contain mobile qbs for ps2

can someone give me some setups to stop Vince Young or help me contain him. If i fag the d out he will just run around back there and playmaker wr to open areas on the field, or he will run around and get my spy caught with the dline and scramble or 10 yds. If i send the house he will just make a quick read and hit someone. any help would be appreciated.

Try spreading you Defensive line out and crash the line down and put your Defensive Ends on contain. So the QB can not just scramble out the pocket and if he stays in the pocket the DT should get close to him

corner blitz him.

if u know like that do the old fashion pick a team with a monster LB and kill him and i mean lay the wood every time he runs it jack him up. See how the guy likes running with Collins if he does kill him and see the wheels the punter got.

User control a LB that is going to contain or in a hook zone. When you see him go left or right just follow him. You will need to have a fast LB to keep up with Young.

nose tackle spy
lft olb into coverage in front of the te (or not)
do not miss your first chance at him or you will get burnt
works 4 me 75% of the time the rest i get burnt
If you are not worried he is going to run go to norm qrtr qb trap i have changed my de that spies to a 80+ speed lb change your back up safety to the fastest option you have this has made alot of qb scramble players just quit you may have to contain with the de(lb) and spy with the nose if you commit both of these should have at least a 60% success rate hope this helps

Sure, you always get the "use the QB spy and DE Contain" responses, but that doesn't always work. I have a friend who used to abuse me with Michael Vick all day, and now he still uses Young. I would recommend corner blitzes, it can catch them by surprise. Also, you should send some coverage into the flats. It's very unlikely they'll try a deep bomb all the way across the field, especially with Young's arm, though they are likely to try dumping it off to a TE on an out if you're about to drop the hammer on the QB. Try to force them towards the sidelines, because you don't want to have to face Vince Young 1v1 in the open field when he's running full speed. Someone good with him will take one juke and be off to the endzone.
