When i set it up the color on my tv isnt as bright as it should be, but when i see what im recording on my computer its all the right color. Any help? (I've tried unpluging and repluging, everything is in the right slots.)

I am assuming this is the Hauppauge. It could be a problem with the analog connections. Try switching them. Use the ones that you are connecting TO the HD PVR and make them so they go from the HD PVR to your TV. Post what happens.
