beating speed defense?

whats the best way to play someone who uses speed on defense like a lot of the people i play especially in franch pick up the fastest CB's and linebackers and safetys disregarding their usually low OVR stats for just speed stats any weaknesses against that? thx in advance

yea... run it at them with a good RB... usually their low stats are due to bad tkl ratings... also, run counters and PA, they cant user everyone... and the dumb guys that have low awr and get fooled on stuff like that... outside of that... just make smart decisions and dont try pushing the ball to hard, just take whats given to you, even if its just drags and hooks...

RUN!!! Dont force stuff and mix it up.. IF he runs 46 speed and all he do is coverage by all mean run and follow your blocks lol..

Cheetos said it best. Run at them. Then hit them with the PA. Those low AWR ratings will cause the DBs to come up and you should have some great separation

Everyone is right! Run at them, with corners and lower overall players means less tackling ability.

ok thats what I thought I run a lot and I'm great at following blocks so thanks for that I use pass bal any good playaction out of there cuz im not a big fan of playaction cuz it seems the reason you do PA is bcuz they are blitzing the run but if you PA theres always a good chance you get blitzed before you can even pass or am I wrong?

one thing I noticed when I run on speed defense is the advantage it has on the run is that the speed allows many people to reach you on those outside runs and gang tackle as you try to break a tackle on their weak tacklers

run right at them then when their thinking run hit them deep with PA

pound that rock dude.. and mix it up with some nice pass plays.. PA aswell

lol I was doing that earlier and of course i had 3 fumbles with the chargers 2 with sproles 1 with tomlinson 2 of them does anyone have any up the middle runs that are effective in the pass bal and arent in strong close cuz I like to run up the middle but the blocking tends to be less reliable

Inside zones are nice for me beacuse if the hole is there you can slam it up inside but if everyone gets walled off to the inside you can bounce it out and usually get 1 on 1 with a corner.

inside zone is a great play, also try the I form and single back sets, theyre fire for me this year... of course use motion on most if not all plays, this will allow you to keep the D on their toes. dont be afraid to use the WRs in run blocking either... sometimes the extra body is all you need to get that extra half a second...
