defensive thoughts.

Hey im running the 46 D with the raiders. I switched my ROLB T. Scott. and put him as me RE. Boosting him up previously 74 now 85 at LE. And putting my SS T.Branch at ROLB. For better coverage and run stopping.



Making the line much tougher to get past as well having branch with 93 Speed being a linebacker is pretty nasty.

Yeah fosho. I just thought i would share it with you guys to see how it worked with your Defensive scheme.

its not bad, but either way... the run defense will be weak, due to their awr and tkl ratings... which im pretty sure are low

Yeah im not a huge fan of DB's at OLB and things of that nature but hey if it works dont change it up, i juse know a guy like mikell is better suited as a saftey not a OLB cuz 1 on 1 with a tackle is a nightmare for me at least, the raiders D is so fast though i still think its a win for you.

Yeah, well I literally just found out putting OLBS at DBs and switching SS to OLB it really gives it a boost but as far as my run defence its pretty good if anything it's better with branch at OLB with all the speed ive been killing the pitches. Basically just makes my team faster on D.

It all depends on what position you like to user and or the depth you have at those positions. Most people play with a safety so they wouldnt want to move a safety to linebacker. I myself user a LB or a DE and always move speedy players to my OLB and DE positions. I love usering Bob Sanders at OLB or Ernie Sims at DE. The Colts are pretty deep at safety so it doesnt hurt my secondary moving bob down to LB. And same goes for Ernie at DE due to the suprising depth the Lions have at LB. Making your outside fast on defense is great against people who abuse the flats or run a lot of tosses.
