Easy 46 Nanos Empty
PostSubject: Easy 46 Nanos   Easy 46 Nanos Empty2010-05-16, 02:34

What is a "Fake Blitz"?
A "fake blitz", not to be mistaken with "show blitz", is when you reblitz a player, the ball is snapped, you allow the rusher to take a few steps to draw out a defender, then manually drop back into coverage. This will free up gaps for other pass rushers for easy sacks. I will be using this technique in all of these blitzes.

46 Normal-Cover 1 #1
1. Reblitz the MLB at LB depth over the B gap
2. Place FS 10 yds away from the LOS over the Center and fake blitz him
The MLB will get B gap pressure

46 Normal-Cover 1 #2
1. Reblitz the WDT (Left DT on screen)
2. Reblitz MLB and place him at least 5 yds away in the A gap between the DTs (make sure you have some speed here)
3. Blitz the FS and place him 5-7 (closer is better) yds off the LOS over the LT. When the ball is snapped. let him take a step or two then drop into coverage manually. This should free up your MLB A gap heat.

46 Normal-SS blitz #1
1. Man up your SS on the reciever that your FS is supposed to cover.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
Your MLB will get B gap pressure.

46 Normal-SS blitz #2
1. Man up your MLB on the receiver that your FS is supposed to cover.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
Your SS will get outside pressure. This is also nice for opponents who like to roll out.

46 Normal-Weak Blitz
1. Man up your MLB on the uncovered reciever (usually a slot or RB)
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
This should free up your OLB (or CB depending on if you use the Speed package) on the outside.

46 Normal-Inside Blitz
1. Man up your ROLB on the man your FS is covering.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
Your MLB should get B gap pressure

46 Normal-2 Man Under #1
1. Blitz the SS of the edge.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
SS comes clean off the edge

46 Normal-2 Man Under #2
1. Blitz the SS and place at LB depth in the B gap
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
SS should get B gap pressure.

46 Normal Rush Outside
1. Reblitz the SS and place him on the outside hip or the RE
2. Place the LOLB or DB (if using Speed package) in coverage (I suggest Hook Zone or Deep Zone)
3. User the FS and manually fake blitz him from 10 yds off the LOS over the Center. As the Center comes out to block you, manually guard the RB if he goes out for a pass.

46 Normal-Cover 3 #1
1. Reblitz MLB at LB depth over the B gap
2. Coverage audible your safeties to cover the middle of the field (Triangle/Y + Right Stick Down)
3. Place FS 10 yds off the LOS over the Center and fake blitz him
MLB gets B gap pressure with a nice zone coverage

46 Normal-Cover 3 #2 (Thanks to MiamiXCanes)
1. Spread line
2. Blitz one of the flat zones (lets say the flat on the left of the screen for this)
3. Take your RDE (on screen) and put him in a purple
4. Take your RDT (on screen) and put him in a contain
5. Blitz your FS about 10 yards back and take control as soon as the center commits

Nickel Strong-Strong Man
1. User and manually fake blitz the FS
from 10 yds out over the Center. As the Center comes out to block you, drop back into coverage.
The NB comes free off the edge.

Nickel Normal-ROLB Blitz
1. Reblitz the ROLB
2. User and manually fake blitz the FS from 10 yds out over the Center. As the Center comes out to block you, drop back into coverage.
The ROLB gets B gap pressure.

Nickel Normal-CB Blitz
1. Move Nickleback (blitzing DB) to the outside hip of the RE and reblitz him
2. Move your SS in the Deep Zone about 10 yds out over the RG and reblitz him (his angle is different so we align him over the Guard to get him to run at the Center). When the ball is snapped, let your SS run forward and draw out the Center. After he takes a few steps, manually drop back and cover the middle of the field.
The NB should come clean off the edge

Note:
Make sure you have a coverage D in your audibles (Cover 2 Hawk) if your opponent starts to keep in blockers. I've also noticed that you can attract the attention of the RB by looping your FS fake blitz (letting your FS run ant the Center then moving to the side of the RB before dropping back)

thanks man. im sure that it will work in the 4-4 too. Pretty much anything without a noseguard over the center and a single safety will work.

also try BNR. should force opponent to throw quick over the middle where you'll be waiting (:

Thanks man. I just took the concept of fake blitzing and applied it to the safety. Its worked well for me

Try it with your 4-4 and let me know how it goes. Im trying to think of other formations it could work for.

yeah brb i know how to do this out of the 4-4 and you actualy dont need somebody over the center

in cover 2 or 3 just blitz one of the flat zones and blitz your single high S. as soon as the center commits just take control of him and the edge gets a clean rush

this is fire when used with the play monster green out of the tenn 4-4. what i do is blitz the rolb(a fast one) put the left mlb(on screen) to a purple, the right mlb to a flat(7/10 times they guy will throw to the right side flat), blitz the fs(in my case cromartie) leave the fs 10 yards deep like you said, let him run in so he brings out the center, then user him into coverage. I also found that if you dont have good user skill for the fs(like me -__-) you can put the left(on screen) mlb into a deep blue and when the opponent thinks the fs is blitzing your mlb gets a nice pick when he dumps it off.

PostSubject: Re: Easy 46 Nanos   Easy 46 Nanos Empty2010-05-16, 19:48

Alright, I have 2 more nanos out of the 46 based on the FS fake blitz.

SS blitz #1
1. Man up your SS on the reciever that your FS is supposed to cover.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
Your MLB will get B gap pressure.

SS blitz #2
1. Man up your MLB on the receiver that your FS is supposed to cover.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
Your SS will get outside pressure. This is also nice for opponents who like to roll out.

More FS fake blitzes

Weak Blitz
1. Man up your MLB on the uncovered reciever (usually a slot or RB)
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
This should free up your OLB (or CB depending on if you use the Speed package) on the outside.

Inside Blitz
1. Man up your ROLB on the man your FS is covering.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
Your MLB should get B gap pressure

Thanks Swag

Here's another for you all
2 Man Under
1. Blitz the SS of the edge.
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
SS comes clean off the edge

2 man under
1. Blitz the SS and place at LB depth in the B gap
2. User and Fake blitz the FS at least 10 yds away over the Center. Then roam the middle of the field.
SS should get B gap pressure.

Note: Make sure you have a coverage D in your audibles (Cover 2 Hawk) if your opponent starts to keep in blockers. I've also noticed that you can attract the attention of the RB by looping your FS fake blitz (letting your FS run ant the Center then moving to the side of the RB before dropping back)

I'll also be working on a 4-4 concept of this soon

PostSubject: Re: Easy 46 Nanos   Easy 46 Nanos Empty2010-05-19, 22:12

Actually this is out of the 46 Normal, not Nickel/Dime. I use the speed package to get that Dime effect though.

I'll see what i can do to get some heat from Nickel. I'll also try to see if I can incorporate the FS fake. I've had a lot of success with it lately and a couple easy picks.

Here's one more for the arsenal:
46 Normal Cover 1 (A Gap heat)
A gap heat is somewhat difficult to find in the 46 unless you are using the inside blitz play, which can become predictable. I have found a way to get some A gap heat with the MLB while incorporating the FS fake, but it takes some specific setup.

Let me know if this works for you. It seems to be working for me; and please feel free to add your own suggestions or successes.

Originally, I didn't use fake blitz when I was labbing these. But like you said it works just as fire with the fake blitz called.

You just have to make sure you user fake with the FS to draw out the Center. After that, anything goes.

One question swag, I havent tried my Cover 1 A gap blitz with fake blitz called. Howd that work for you?

Here's a little different look:

46 Normal Rush Outside
1. Reblitz the SS and place him on the outside hip or the RE
2. Place the LOLB or DB (if using Speed package) in coverage (I suggest Hook Zone or Deep Zone)
3. User the FS and manually fake blitz him from 10 yds off the LOS over the Center. As the Center comes out to block you, manually guard the RB if he goes out for a pass.

And some Nickel as I promised:

Nickel Strong-Strong Man
1. User and manually fake blitz the FS from 10 yds out over the Center. As the Center comes out to block you, drop back into coverage.
The NB comes free off the edge.

Nickel Normal-ROLB Blitz
1. Reblitz the ROLB
2. User and manually fake blitz the FS from 10 yds out over the Center. As
the Center comes out to block you, drop back into coverage.
The ROLB gets B gap pressure.

Nickel Strong
Cover 1 Sink (call it so that the SS starts in the yellow)

1. bump n run then flip the play (delay bump)
2. shift the Dline to the left side
3. put the FS(now in yellow) to blitz in the left B-gap
4. user the deep guy (should be the SS, depending on the opposition tendencies, cover the deep middle down to the shallow middle)
