Ryan Leaf or Jamarcus Russell?

I am a biased Charger fan so I want to know what you guys think.

I think Leaf was the biggest bust because some ppl thought he was going to be better than Peyton and look how that turned out

yeah i agree with MVP i think leaf takes it although russell has got to be a close second, wonder how he stacks up against mandarich and bosworth....

ryan leaf had the worst career imo jamarcus had problems but not as many as him

I never really was a Chargers fan when Leaf ran the show, I was young at the time.

i guess you could consider yourself lucky then, i think mandarich is a bigger bust than russell cuz they made him out to be a modern day superman, it was funny when reggie white totally handled him, i see that play all the time on highlight reels and stuff.

i wonder if we are going to experince any more busts as bad as them

leaf was the number 2 pick, russell was number 1...russell had more money invested in him then leaf did. and there are passes russell makes where i honestly thought he was trying to throw it to the other team cause it was so bad

so ill say russell

probably beacuse scouts and teams when they draft miss more than they hit, its beacuse you cant test for desire or heart some of the most important traits in great players.

Its not really close at all, ryan leaf was the bigger bust. That being said, jamarcus was a huge failure

lol if i could do my top 10 Russel would be in there without a doubt

i still think leaf and mandarich are bigger busts than russell but he's up there now thanks to his poor work ethic and lack of desire.

Says it all. Got busted for steriods and an epic fail. He was picked ahead of Barry Sanders (3), Derrick Thomas (4), and Deion Sanders (5).

Mandarich was actually successful when he played for the Colts though

Yeah, that's why I can't put Russell as the worst. He still needs time to prove that. Leaf takes the crown right now as he's had several chances AND he's had a number of post NFL issues.

leaf all the way didnt someone pick him up after the chargers and he still folded ? i still think russel could become and decent backup if he let the coaches coach him
