Quick Tip for Wheel Routes

if you seem to be having trouble throwing to the wheel routes near the sideline then throw the ball using LT or L2

i dont get it???

well im jus saying if your having a hardtime throwing to the wheel routes, use this

does this set the QB's fee for a more accurate throw? cuz i have heard it does and i have heard it does absolutely nothing, ill have to try this out though, thank for the tip.

what i meant to ask was if i hold LT down while throwing the wheel route or do i just tap it before the throw

yes it makes it more accurate.. and puts lil more air under ball

i thought thats what it did, but people on this site told me it did nothing so i disregaurded it, ill have to look into this for sure. thanks man.

It does nothing. It is just something people say because L2 USED to make you put more air under the ball. It got patched the 1st week so you couldn't hold L2 and RC.

i tried it, seems to kinda work couldnt tell a big enough difference to use it full time if it does/did work, also i find it would be hard to throw to my L1 WR if im holding down L2.

i use it on certain routes.. and it makes it much better

^I think its in your head man. That was patched a long time ago.

The best thing to do is just make sure your QB's feet are set so he is more accurate, then read the defense. Watch the CB and see if he drops back or stays put.

well do what works for you i guess. if you are more comfortable with the L2/LT go for it

although i did notice if you try to sprint then press LT, i sets up your feet

ive had success on and off with it... it seems to work on some routes, but it could just be in my head... i use it effectively, so im not gonna be a naysayer, but at the same timei think ive had it botch some throws too

well yea.. it dont make it 100% perfect... but it does make it better

yeah ive noticed it does make a difference specially when your using a guy like mcnabb that doesnt have the best short throw accuracy it can put a nice touch on the ball, wether its true or not i still like to use it on occasion cuz nothing grinds my gears more than a 5 yard pass thats in the dirt.
