how to stop the long ball on ncaa 2010

i play 2 player with one of my buds on ncaa 2010 and his offense kills me and it is so simple. All he does is get in a shotgun formation put all the recivers on hot routes to run verticles and then he launches a deep ball, he doesnt even change the play he hurrys up to the line and does the same thing. he also can get his reciver to jump way higher than my defenders, and idk how to get my defenders to jump like he does. whats the best formation to run and stop this and how do i jump my defender high to get a user pick or swat....i use ps2 btw...yeah im poor lol

ok well for one thing, your friend i s an assclown with no skill. And the best way to cover that is to run cover 4 or quarters and key your defense to cover the pass best way to stop it.

Normally I wouldn't go for cheap stuff, but he's asking for it lol.

There is a cheesyway to protect against this in quarters. I can tell you through PM since it pretty cheesy and will probably be looked down upon, but since your friend is being a cheap bastard I will tell you. Just mix it with Big Hungry's play.
