i saw them gettin rid of Ginn after they picked up Marshall. im kinda surprised they got anything for him. a whole lot of down side, with a small up side. but the 9ers could use him.

its was a 5th round pick and i hope this means the niners wont try and get CJ spiller now

iGuess. iDnt like gin that much but he can be good. Kinda like a hester, cept slower and less dinamic lol

its a great pick up for the 49ers they didnt get him for his redieving skills they got good wr's they need him for the special team threat of breaking a big one plus singletary seems to be able to get through to thick headed people so he might be able to get through to gin

I actually think ginn is a nice wr think about it almost all of the dolphins biggest passing plays came from ted ginn and he did burn arguably the best CB in the league darrelle revis and ginn is a BEAST!!!! at returning kicks.

Ginn will make some plays for the 9ers.

IMO ginn shined when the dolphins needed a big play weather it was a KR or a long receiving TD.

^^^ even a blind squirrel eventually finds a nut.. would you bet money that ginn could consistently get open against a cb the caliber of a darrell revis? ginn is soft.. he is better off being a teams third option at wr and not be counted on the number one guy

whos the dolphins fan here? who has watched 16 games of ginn running a 10 yard out because he cant handle the bump and run?

he ddnt beat revis.....the oline's protection beat revis cuz ginn had 2 hours to run past revis...

everybody keeps saying ginn is a bum but he has showed he can play just ask revis also he is pretty much out of the same mold a S. Holmes and he is a S.B. MVP

he doesnt run any kind of route holmes can run

he cant catch like holmes nor can he make any clutch catches

in fact his only good game came vs the bills in which he torched mcgee several times then his 2nd best game would be his 100 plus yards 10 catch game in which he averaged.....10 yards a catch! why is that? cuz all he does is run 10 yard outs!

at the very least he's still a dynamic return man, and could help the niners out there.

For being a first round pick, it obviously shows how much of a waste he was to be traded for a fifth round pick. If he proves to be anything for the 49ers, good for him. If not, it won't be much of a surprise.

guys have made a living as kick return specialists in the league though, dante hall was a perfect example he was not at all as good a WR as he was a return man, if he can make his mark on the special teams part of the game for the 49ers maybe thats where his place as an NFL player and 49er will be and theres nothing wrong with that, in his defense he hasnt been in the league a real long time, i mean not all guys develop year 1 or 2 some guys take some work and thats all good, and he's young so he could turn his career around at this point if he works at it, im not sayin he'll be great jus sayin he does have some potential to be a good WR in the league but i think he'll make his mark on special teams.

i dont by any means think ginn is just a plain out bum.. i think the move to san fran will be a big boost to his career. no longer will he have to be counted on the be the #1 guy (which he could never be) but with vd and crab taken most the coverage and josh morgan being a solid wideout ginn should have quite a bit of room to oprerate out of the slot and its obvious everyone knows he is a good kick returner.. i think he will make a mark with the 49ers, but it will just be as a playmaker and never a #1 receiver. which im sure san fran would be cool with bc that offense could get dynamic in a hurry

Having Chad Pennington at QB didnt help Ginn either. Obviously hes a deep threat and it hurts when your qb cant throw more than 20 yards.

Ginn is a BEAST!!!! and was the best playmaking wr that the dolphins had.

I wouldn't be suprized if he was gonna be the #2 wr for the 9ers i beleive he can be used like a desean jackson but he's gotta work on catching.

and another thing trump in case u have never watched a steelers game holmes dont run routes he gets open every steeler wideout does so dont go saying holmes is a good route runner also do you think that if pennington was throwing that ball to holmes to win the super bowl it would have been caught I think NOT
