| Ok when making my depth chart, i don't really care about any ratings when i reach my D-line, i realize they rarely matter. Block Shed is a non factor unless it comes to a HB for some reason. LB is probably my most looked at position. If you don't have 5 guys that i can move around my front 7 from the LB position, i'll walk right passed your team. So i guess LB and #1CB are the two most important position when choosing a team.
you? | |

| See that's the thing, my safeties just sit in yellow zones. Mostly, so i don't really care about them, i just like tall ones, to break up TE's and jump for jump balls. | |

| Quick LB's, good corners, and good enough safeties. I really don't care all that much about the D line, i just put in who ever is quicker. | |

| For my defense I look at my D-line. I do not really care much for who could be a great D-line guy, so I try to convert my D-line to LB's if it's feasible. If they're fast like Maybin, and have some hit power and tackling I will convert them. LB's MUST have awareness and tackling. Speed is the icing to the cake. Cornerbacks must be excellent in speed, catching and awareness. My User should be in the 90's for speed, tackling in the mid 80's or higher with a hit power of 90 or higher. Must also be around 6'1. Ernie Sims is my fav to user. Offensivly, speed. Everything and anything speed. Devin Hester, Calvin Johnson, Percy Harvin, Desean Jackson would be my picks for 4 receivers. Johnson as the deep threat, Harvin and Jackson in the flats or hitches and Hester as my posts. My RB's should be more towards trucking than elusion. Mid 80's speed would be ideal since I have better accomplisments in that. My QB should be a pocket passer unless I know a nano is coming and I sub in my speedy QB. Brad Smith to a QB is excellent. He isn't the greatest accuracy man, but he can make those runs. Overall, speed and height takes it for me. | |

| yo block shed is crucial.
i actually do a lot with my DE (in a 4-3 D), so its nice to have a versatile guy there. speed, block shed, and actually hands but i dont really care. i'll drop that DE in cover a lot in certain blitzes, and ive had a lot of success getting interceptions like that.
but yeah, mostly im looking for my LBs. i'll user my LBs all day, but when im not usering one of them i need the cpu to have good pursuit and zone coverage in case i messed up on a play call.
for the most part, when im usering i just need a guy with speed, so i can get him into position. it helps if he has good tackle stats so i can wrap the guy with the ball up, and also its nice when a LB has good catch stats, so i dont drop easy interceptions. | |
