Looking for a new cap card, any ideas?

I need one to work with a mac, and record in HD. Any ideas please tell me, and i'd like for it not to be too pricey.

not too many options because you got a mac, the hauppauge HD PVR will run you just over $200 which is a good deal when you compare other hardware that does the same thing. it records directly to h264 format, which can help alot.

you can record as high as 720p progressive, or 1080i interlaced (not recommended)
