| okay so i jus wanna get your guys opinion on what type of players are better to use, big, tall, physicall, not always the fastest safties, or the alot of times smaller, quicker, better ball handling safties? i ask this cuz i can see where a guy like adrian wilso, pat watkins, and aaron rouse can come in handy as they can go up for a jump ball and win a good majority of the time, but i can see where having guys like brandon meriwether, laron landry, ed reed, and reggie nelson can come in handy cuz on tosses or plays to the outside you can imediatley cut the edge off and get in the backfield, and although they cant get up as high as those 6'3-6'5 guys they have the ability to run with fast slot recivers and at times have the recovery speed to get into better position. lemme know what ya'l think. | |

| I personally like fast guys, just because I find it easier to roam around with them, and I can use them to stop the run. But it can be annoying when your opponent is making plays all over with tall guys like Watkins. I like Cromartie at FS when I use the Chargers, much better to user with than Weddle | |

| its pretty cool when you dont have to sacrifice size or speed (cromartie) i personally like faster guys cuz as you stated its easier to get around and defend mutliple routes if needed. | |

| so would you take a bob sanders (5'8) with 92 speed? or a pat watkins (6'5) with 85 speed? i feel like with good user skill both can be deadly. | |

| I only play 1 S most of the time and he is locked onto the RB so i'll take speed like Nelson or Reed or even a CB with good BS and tackle. Rookie CB's in online fran at S FTW. | |

| Pat watkins is ridiculus on this game.I dont understand.Hes not that good but he also drops alot of passes.I am speaking as a cowboy user only when i say use pat watkins over the sorry azz safeties boyzz have.Unless you get sick of him dropping a bunch of passes which in my case seems to be like every 5 passes!! | |

| Speed. You only got one shot to catch the ball. Then their is the pursuit. If the WR is 6'5, and has 86 speed and you have a saftey with 94 speed that is 6'0. I'll easily take the speed. Just hope that the safety has the tackle ability. | |

| I like the faster ones because you can recover deep and run down any long balls your opponent tries to lob.. I use Darren Sharper so hes the best of both worlds he has like 88 speed i think and im not sure how tall he is but he can get up their with the best of them and he catches anything his hands touch | |

| ill take size with a little speed. youll wanna know who the best corner in the game is at stopping the deep ball? sean smith from the phins. all 6 foot 4 of him. NOTHING will get over him no matter who the WR is. when your tall like that you dont need speed because you can be farther back, but that height makes it so you dont need to be right on the WR to make a play. add that onto the fact that bing so tall adds to your range to make the INT then it kills ill take any saftey from the U first, then somebody with size lol | |

| im a lil torn on the discusion with all of you pointing out very good points, i like the ability to cover with speed, but i like goin up for jump balls with taller safties, and alot of the time thos bigger safties know how lay the wood so they add turn over value in that catagory as well, right now im messin with the pats cuz my lil cuzin is a pats fan and enjoys watching me use them so i said why not so lately i been using them, brandon meriweather is 5'11 200 LBS. even, but what he lacks in size he makes up for in range and turn over ability, he has 91 speed, 93 jump, 88 hit power, 78 man, and 93 zone, so i feel like i get the best of both worlds with him he's a rangey saftey than can come up and support the run, perfect for my scheme, black knows what im talkin about. | |

| i know right! i always knew he was good cuz of his OVR. rating but it wasnt until i took a deeper look into his rating that he jumped off the screen, in the few games ive played with him ive absolutely dominated, cuz he's so fast the range and area i can cover greatly increases, then you throw in the fact that he can B-line it to the outside to shut down and cutt off stretches and tosses he makes my defense way better cuz his ability allow for the CPU to mess up more cuz i can user compensate for some things, all in all meriweather is a BEAST i must say! | |

| yeah i only got one saftey in my scheme so i gotta make the one that i do use a playmaker, he's gotta be dynamic! if he's not my D usually suffers from it. | |

| man BRB the help you gave me on the 4-4 is NASTY!!!!!! i played a dude last night and i honestly thought he was gunna s*** himself lol...ive never played anybody who seemed so confused and so scared as to where the heat was coming from. he was running around with his QB on every play because i could bring heat from so many directions. he would just hike it and run straight back, he even started coming out in 4 WR sets and blocking both slot WR and his RB LMAO. and he was a LVL 34 lol it was so damn funny | |

| fs i would go with speed and SS i would go with height and the big hitter.. rather have speed thought.. cause its easy to throw around height.. but speed is hard to throw around cause they could easily jump your pass | |

nice! with a good uer guy the 4-4 is nasty cuz you can compensate for the lack of coverage, me personally im not all that good at usering that saftey i mean i get picks and make plays but real good guys will absolutely dominate with the 4-4. glad to hear your having success! | |
