anyone notice this

why is steven jackson not the best running back in the game... i mean he is on the worst team ever... but he just puts up so many yards when the other team knows he is getting the ball every play.. if u watch his highlights he is just brutal.. he should atleast be 93-94 speed.. cause on his highlights he just burns some ppl.. iono if its cause they know they cant tackle him when they catch him so they stop or they just are too slow

Nahh he shouldnt be the best.. Yea he puts up a lot of yards, but he never scores TD's.. He had 4 this season.. Which is one per every four games.. He is an elite running back, but to be talked about being the best you need to get the ball in the endzone, which he has failed to do..

thats easy to say for u...but everyone knows when it gets down to the goalline its up to the o line... and he has to go throught the worst.. when he gets in the redzone the other team just heavily blitzes cause they know the rams cant pass..even thought he is prolly the best goaline line running back.. i bet if he played on the titans he would be up there with chris... u cant look at just stats.. u gotta look at situations

i live in missouri i watch rams cuz it the only one on fox most of the time and i havnt once seen him outrun a d like ap of cj. hes a good back hell run someone over but not known for his speed.

Numbers dont lie.. 4 touchdowns in a season doesn't impress anyone

wow u must not be a big fan.. look at his highlight tape.. he may not be fast be for some reason aint nobody catching him... and stats do lie.. its about the people around you... running backs are made by their o line.. look at all the good runningbacks and look at their o line and they usualyl have a decent passing game... steven jackson is out their by himself basically.. and i know he aint as fast as ap or cj but he is still faster then the game says he is.. thats why i said 93-94 not 99... i think he is the ultimate running back... he is big, decently fast, powerfull, elusive, strong, explosive, quick, finess, hands, he is driven by pure aggresion..

the reason y he isnt the best is because CJ got 2,000 yrds last season so hes like an automatic 99. But i do think S-jack is a beast

4 touchdowns.. Stats dont lie.. Your opinionating your statement by saying running backs are made by their O line.. He is not very fast.. How can you say stats lie? Answer that question with a fact rather than opinion saying "the offensive line makes the running back"..

this is sorta true. Its kinda hard being AP or CJ28 when your team sucks so bad the other teams no its going to you. IMO Steven Jackson is a top 5 back forsure.

He is a top running back, but not the best.. Its like going use the Browns in Madden.. They suck in real life, so they suck in Madden.. Its going to be the same way with the Rams, they suck in real life, so they suck in Madden.. Their one bright spot is Jackson, but with him only scoring four touchdowns in a season isn't going to help his ratings go up any.. its the skills not stats... you cant just blame him... if he put that many yards up with a horrible oline and and everyone knowing he is gonna get the ball.. if he was on the titans.. he is apart of the team but think here.. i know thats hard for you cause you been sayin ignorant stuff.. but if he had an oline like viks, titans, giants, saints,chargers, eagles, cowboys.. he would be off the charts

and by the way i watched most of his games.. so dont say i just watch his highlights

Yea he WOULD be off the charts, but hes not.. You say im saying ignorant stuff, when you say nothing but opinions and im saying facts.. Facts arent ignorant, their the truth.. Opinions can be ignorant, which is what you are basing your whole "Steven Jackson i wanna lay him" argument on.. ok u asked for it.. ok listen to every anouncer ... stats dont tell the whole truth about a player.. its their skill... and it is a fact that his oline sucks and the rams have no other offense besides him... u cant say he isnt the best... some players look good cause they got good complements ... like good oling and passing game.. when your putting up these numbers with all these things bringing you done.. well son.. that is a beast... a monster..

My def. of a beast isnt some1 that gets 4 TDs a year but thats just me

I dont classify someone as a beast, monster, or the best when their only scoring four touchdowns per season.. Thats not my definition of the best running back in the NFL.. If thats the case, the NFL is s***.. Its your opinion that he is the best, its mine that hes not.. Problem is, i have more evidence on my side that he isnt the best (see Jackson, Steven stats on NFL.com)..

when u put up 1416 yards with no offensive lineman or passing game =beast.. i beat no other runningback would to that good.. look at cj when vy wasnt playing...

i think he's deffinetly a top RB in the league but the best? now that might be a stretch, i think he plays bigger than his stats will show but the best? i mean cmon man.
