what formation do you find your self in the most? for me it seems like im always in gun doubles, gun split offset, gun y-trips WK, or gun spread flex. jus was wondering what ya'l do or if you guys switch it up more than me.

shotgun snugs flip. 5 yard dumpoffs to the outside = long tds. hot route the right plays over the middle and you dont need to leave this formation the whole game. I even do snugs flip on goalline and 4th n inches situations lol.

sounds like these two back sets are a favorite among you guys, is this for protection purposes or the plays in the formation? i like split offset too but for me its not really for protection purposes more just i got some nice plays and schemes in it.

with split offset you can just do so much. power O is one of the best shotty runs in the game so you can keep whoever your playing off balance, and some of the best passing there is. and if you need, you got 2 backs to help with pass protection

what are some of the best passing plays in gun split? or do you have to hot route them to make them effective? i like the running out of it but sometimes find it hard to pass out of it

Undercenter stuff to me is where its at. Every year I have always adapted my offense to the undercenter formations. You cannot beat the downhill run approach from being undercenter. Couple this with the fact that you get some solid PA Passes to mix into your scheme and you are off. I get sacked way more when I am in the gun, way more. I dunno, maybe it because I have worked for so long under, more confidence. I get ancy when I am in the gun. Undercenter formations in my opinion have by far the best concepts, and the run game is far better. Don't get me wrong, I love the SG as much as the next guy but undercenter is for me.

with that said, SINGLEBACK DOUBLES/SINGLEBACK Y TRIPS

i form twins, shotgun split slot, bunch, and tight. But there are other formations in which i only run a play or two from.

Gun Split

Sometimes I find myself audibing every reciever including the backs

Here is my favorite audibles

Left side WR on an inside slant
Left side back on a streak
Right side back on a outside slant, this usually is in the play otherwise it doesn't work right, if not then he is a good blocker especially if you have a TE here
Slot reciever on an inside slant or smart route
Right side WR on a drag

Of course it all depends on down and distance and mainly my defensive read at the line

But like MiameXican says the Power O run here is one of the best in the game and it is the default Run (I think) so you can come out in any gun split play and audible easily to it.
