Sim to me is a style of play where the player commits to a philosphy of off. and def. and keeps to that style of play. By using play calling to create favorable match-ups on offense and by taking away on aspect of the offense game plan on defense. By using knowlegde of the game you get a well deserved win.

what is SIM in your own words: SIM style madden to me is when your not afraid to play fair. Dont run the same plays every down, never use glitches, and NEVER cheese. You use your football knowledge to out beat on your opponent, not game defects and flaws.

what is SIM in your own words: Playing a realistic representation of a NFL football game. Not relying on glitches in a video game, money plays etc. to win but rather relying on smart strategic gameplay and sportsmanship.

credentials: I have been playing Madden since the early 90's. Before Madden I was a Front Page Sports Football Guy(Damn I'm Old...lol) I have ran leagues back in the PC days of 00-08 and am currently a member of PS3MF (What Up RyLo ) , FML and DCCFL.

what is SIM in your own words: SIM to me is str8 up ball not moving guys all over the place on defense. Actually pick a play on defense that works against an offense. Every play can be stopped without moving players everywhere. On offense have some kind of scheme instead of doing HB direct every play which is so annoying. Off tackle too is annoying when it is done all game.

Never been in a SIM lg or anything but i'm a SIM player...

What is SIM in your own words: The defintion of SIM style play is when no tactics to unfairly confuse the computer al are initiated by a human opponent. Fair and realistic gameplay also has its place in this defintion. There is much debate regarding what constitutes "fair and realistic" gameplay, however at its most basic principle most players know what this means. Im afraid its a another forum topic to go into details.
Credentials: I am in a few sim style leagues, and am a reliable responsible participant in each. My online overall rank is 16 I believe..

yes the debate goes on...most ppl are fine with a general no cheese what u see on sundays definition...i for 1 love definitions like this because everyone can look and see what sim really is...there is room for creativity in sim and it is up to the player to find those...alot of ppl say sim is old school but it really isnt sim is full of players that can compete and even beat freestyle players...love your explanation my dude how u stick around we have some good this popping off specially wen madden 11 drops.

What is SIM in your own words: hmmmm...In one word, Realistic. Starting a game with a gameplan and executing. Having an actual scheme, not just a bunch of plays that rack up yards or sacks. Using other elements of the game like clock management, motion and having the knowledge of where you are on the field (i.e knowing how far you need for a fg or when to punt)

what is SIM in your own words: If you DONT see it on sundays, you DONT see it in the game, essentially. No nanos, period, ive heard pathetic excuses for why these are o.k. No abusing the flats, no repeating plays constantly, i love the rules that were layed out on the site.

credentials: I play in 2 pretty good sim chises, one ran by Bayraider the other by CursiveCA. I make the playoffs consistently in both, no one has ever made a complaint towards me. I lost conference champ. in cursives to someone who was later booted for cheating, and believe me, he cheated.
