| Can anyone help me with my deep threat passing game, I have no problems dumping it off to my back or connecting with a receiver for short yardage it's just every time that I go deep it is either picked or knocked down. New to PS3 and it seems very difficult to control my receiver. Any help is greatly appreciated thxs | |

| Your best bet on when to go deep is Play Action across the middle (Deep Post) or wait for the saftey to come up and Hot Route your receiver.. that's the best advice I can give you.. | |

| wat i do is u dont wait to throw the ball way way late in order to get the proper amount of lead u gotta throw it early like off a 3 or 5 step drop...try and user your wr to get in from of defender....BUT...if the corner is playing off then u might as well forget it caus the slowest corner can keep up with a speed boot wr. | |

| Make sure you have a strong arm QB and a reciever whos speed is a 96 or more, which ever side you want to throw deep to shift the line to that side to block the DE or outside linebacker blitz, make sure the reciever has a step on the db (THIS WORKS IN MAN OR ZONE) and tab the button, click on the reciever press the speed button to pull away from the db and the ball will come right over the top of your shoulder catching it in stride not losing speed, (NOTE: YOU CANT HOLD THE BALL TO LONG OR WHEN YOU THROW THE BALL, IT WILL BE UNDER THROWN ALLOWING THE DB TO CATCH UP AND PICK IT), the deep ball is about timing so you have to be on point. | |

| I have had a lot of success going deep against a Cover 2 Zone but sending a slot receiver on a streak. Pass lead him to the center of the field (ie away from both safeties) and its easy points.
Lots of people play zone, but better players avoid cover 2 except inside the 20's. So it is of limited usefulness depending on whom you play. | |

| Idk, I'm not a big fan of the deep ball, the only time I do it is when I see that the safety's are playing in. They made the deep ball a lot harder this year so I would learn to Rocket Catch or just stick to short passes. | |
