how to get the ball on kickoffs without on-siding

just wanted to share a way for you to get the ball on kickoffs without using an onside kick. All you have to do is sub out your 3rd CB for the fastest player on your team, the reason so he will be lined up on the kickoffs. Next squib the ball...only kicking the ball using half power and the meter should be at around a 5 degree angle or for us simple folk look at a clock if 12 is straight the kick should be at the 1. and what will happen is that it will coffin the ball on the his 15 yard line...if you can touch it first it will be yours at his 15

lol, i get this all hte time when the other user dosent try and recover the squib... then they quit when i get a free posession

thanks i did not know about the 3rd cb thing i guess i never thought about it but was really annoyed when i went from usering ed reed to grab the squibs to random slow a** linebackers.this will be a killer with the chargers cromartie grabbin some squibs up.

Good tip, once I did this accidentally on a squib with 1:14 left in the game, up 3 points, and the guy quit and sent me like 20 angry messages lol.

ive gotten lots of angry messages about recovering squibs too lol. but its usually always preventable if they play it right.

I don't see how anyone could let that happen unless they are retarded. I've played about 500 games and an opponent has never recovered a squib kick on me, you're supposed to pick them up as fast as possible.

this can work on anybody. It works on me, and i have pretty good user skills if i do say so myself. Sometimes the return guy won't run to the ball. You can have all the user skills you want. Ask Savagemac, he recovered a few squibs on me. This also worked at MLG, where people got really heated.

I run up the score on people who do this, because while I've never lost one...it's annoying.

I view people who try this garbage in the same light as someone who runs the Pats playbook, and just does HB Direct and Slot Screen all day.

U should always usually get it if u just user the guy and pick it up, although sometimes it takes a really good bounce for your opponent u should still just user your KR and pick it up

Yeah I user that when it comes down to it. I usually squib it when people return one KO on me that is enough. Its much harder to return a kick when you squib it. I have gotten like 3 back but it is still hard. You need a good bounce for that to happen.

Thats bad for you not knowing how to stop HBDS since it has been toned down and not being able to stop a screen.. Quit whining and work hard to find a way to stop it.. Thats the problem with 90% of Madden players, once they find something that is hard to stop they claim it as a glitch and whine about how it cant be stopped

^^ It's stoppable but it's just flat out not fun. Even when I beat people like that I'm just like "Wow, that was a boring game."

A lot of squibs just get picked up by an upback and get returned to midfield anyway, haha. I just played a guy who squibbed every kickoff. I returned 4 with upbacks to about midfield and he pinned me at the twenty yard line 2 times. I'll take that ratio any time above my opponent kicking deep.

this is effective when its least expexted and when user runs upfield with 2nd kik returner, it is a dirty move play the game the way its suposed to be played
