1-5-5 weakness

what is the 1-5-5 weakness and how to counter it. thank you

It's difficult for me to tell you specifically, but if you have a team with a good running game, I formations with smart slide protecting can totally gash the 1-5-5, you just need a good football mind and it can be done. Of course having CJ makes things easy for me because I can break some long ones, but assuming that you play with the Bengals, then you should be able to get decent gaines even more consistantly than I can because not many linebackers can take Benson down 1X1.

FB dive. Had a guy running 1-1-5 good against me. Went to the FB dive and pinched the line. After getting 7-9 yrds per carry with my FB he got out of it

if he does a man blitz throw slants, if he zone blitzes throw to the flats, if he runs the cover 2 sink send 3 people deep and 1 of them will be open

i used to be king of 1-5-5 with Raiders, and passes to the middle of the field just gashed me if i wasnt running cover 2 sink, so then i would recommend flats..... vs man blitzes, send the RB out in motion and send him on a slant or even a streak if he has a LB on him, and that will kill it

omg, seriously??? run? i stuff runs in the backfield every time if its not AP, hit the middle against cover 3 and anywhere but middle against cover 2 sink!

Depends. If its a man blitz abuse the flats.. But if sum1 come out in a big set or goaline u dead lol
