| Look, I posted this under another listing, but a new thread I figure would be better. I use the Dolphins, I released Pennington due to linjury prone and lack of arm strength, Henne is the starter, picked up Burress off FA, to compliment Ginn. I run the ball extremely well, not even using the "wildcat" often, I'm a traditional runner! So I know the deffense come in to play the run, I know the blitz is comming, I change the protection...blah blah. The ball will hit my guys square in the damn hands 9 out of 10 times, no BS I swear it! They can't hold onto the ball to save their life. Now if you're like me, I'm freakin yellin at the damn TV, threatning to drop players from my roster, like they can hear all that s*** right?? Please tell me someone feels my pain here!!?? Any and all s*** talkers and advice welcome! BTW, it's my first day on here, I've had the game 3 days now, I'm not new to the game in general though. Thanks people! | |

| well of course your gonna have drops with tedd ginn the game is pretty accurate hes a butter finger in real life and a butter finger in the game. best thing to do is work on your user catching. Just go into practice do some of your normal plays throw them exactly like you would then switch to your wide receiver by pressing B or circle on ps3. When the ball is about to be caught press Y or triangle and it should give you better catch %'s. another solution to this problem is get some receivers who dont have a 20 catch rating | |

| I stopped reading after "picked up Burress off FA". Lol jk. I would recommend short passes mostly, and use the run to set up the pass. Ronnie Brown = Beast, so pound the ball with him then attack the flats with play action. Maybe try to get some WR screens to Ginn? | |

| I played last night, I already know to run, run, run, to set up the pass. It brings the defense up close to play the run, now what I did do, since I was getting blitzed like sick, I started to throw RB screens plays, two screens passes to Ginn, another to Burress, it really worked to my advantage. Now we all know GINN really can't catch for scrap, but I returned 2 kickoffs for TD's in one game. I think I need to scout on a better TE, also a better blocking FB, maybe just keep Ginn in the slot and scout another WR to be my #2 since Burress is holding his own. Any other words of wisdom is worth the effort, thanks guys!! BTW, I dropped Pennington because the deep ball is never there for him, and when he gets hit...his body is like glass! | |

| Ok, I'll try that too, what do you know about roster updates? Is that only for online play or can you execute this for franchise mode as well? | |

| Roster updates only apply to online play and exhibition games...doesn't look like the roster updates apply to franchise mode...from what I can tell at least. | |

| User catching, if done well, can really improve your passing game | |

| Roster updates will not apply to any franchise started before the update.

| pass with ur feet set and when the wr is in the catching portion of his route... i have romo missing flat passes or hb/te dropping and it pisses me off but its usually cuz im getting rushed from a blitz and the route is not complete or qb feet not set the wr catch rating is important too...i would love to put ogletree (sp=95) in for crayton but dude cant catch...CIT is important too... | |
