Madden-School August 2008 Statistics

Thanks to your efforts, August was a very successful month:

I wanted to take some time to keep you informed on some of the important things that have happened in the last month regarding this site.

Here are some of the stats for the month of August:

As we head into the month of september lets try to imporve on these numbers. In order to do this, tell some of your friends, make forum.madden-school.com your homepage, or tell people you play online. Anything you can do will really help us out. The more people we get on the site, the more fun things we can do.

Member of the Month: Bigbuddah. Every single one of his posts are truly helpful or spark a conversation. He is a role model for what ideal members should be like and is always helpful to fellow members. He is not the most active member on the site, but he comes on at least once a day and makes great posts consistently. He does not spam and you can tell that he puts real thought into his posts. Thank you bigbuddah. As a token of our appreciation, you will receive a copy of the Madden 09 General Tips and 46/ Multiple D ebook when it is released 100% free.


Many of you may be wondering "How do I become a Member of the Month?"
1. Recruit People to the site. get your friends to join or tell people online how helpful the site is
2. Consistent, helpful posts.
3. Be do not start arguements with other members.
4. A member of the site must nominate you by sending me a pm explaining why they think you deserve to be a member of the month.


Over the last week the activity on this site has dropped off as many of our active members have noticed. A great way to stay active is to come on this site when you have some free time and can't play madden. I understand that no one will come on this site when they could be playing madden. why would you? What i recommend is when your wife/girlfriend/parents/roomate or whoever you live with is using the tv or your console, just come on the site and prepare for your next game of madden. Or if you have like 20 minutes to kill (not enough time for a game) come to the site and ask a question you may have.

If we can continue to recruit new members, we will be able to host some tournaments and now that we have a very small revenue source coming in so we could potentially have some free to enter tournaments with $10-20 dollar payouts. We have tried to get tournaments going, but the interest is never there, or people will post that they are interested and never come back.

A lot of our members are students in junior high, high school, and college. With school starting up, you may not be as active and that is understandable. Just when you are active, make the most of it. Ask people questions, help people out, or make a post on a topic you feel strongly about. Those are the reasons forum.madden-school.com was created.

The quality of the posts people are making now, has went substancially down. Too many people are posting just to try to get madden cash. This feature may be removed if our members continue to abuse it. I like the feature, but the 1 word posts and the posts where you simply rephrase what the person before you said are getting out of control. Those posts clutter up the forums and make it harder for people to find helpful information.

We have our Madden 09 PS2 Oakland playbook guide now on sale for only $9.99, and our Madden 09 General Tips and Strategy Guide for PS3 and XBOX360 available for $19.99. The 46/Multiple Defense Guide will be released in early September, no exact date set just yet, but look for it in the future. We will be offering a Bundle Package of both the 46/Multiple D and General Tips and Strategy guides starting September 10 for only $24.99 so look for that in the near future. We have the best deals on the internet with the same or better information that you will get anywhere else.

On another note, please limit your signatures to 3. If you have more than that, it really makes the forum harder to navigate. Sorry about that.

I am sorry for having you read all this, i just think it is your right to know everything that has happened on this website in the last month. Look for a post like this at the end of september and lets try to beat all those records we set this month.

Word I've got school starting tomorrow, so between school basketball and my own site, well I'll still probably make a few posts a day.

And sweet Hester is banned.

But I think MS should get something like ea's top 10 plays going(not my idea). It'd be cool to have.

You should probably wait to delete them till cowboys reads it...

its going to be pretty impossible for us to beat these records cuz everyone will be going back to school(if they arent already). me personally, my time will be cut from like 2 hours a day on the site to 15 minutes max

if we hold tournaments and start new stuff then we can beat the records. just try to help everyone out.

i'm sure there will be some buzz on the opening of the new season and some more talk aout madden as it goes into it's second month.

That doesn't mean we can't try. And we can easily set a few new records this month, because this is about the time that people start looking for help. They start seeing people doing things to them online and want to know how to do them. I think we can easily beat at least a few of those records.
