| I need a new good strategy. My classic punt, field goal, extra point stuff doesn't work against real people. They always stop MJD 4 losses no matter where I run and I give up 1st downs on 4th & 36. Help? | |

| 4th and 36 go into something like quarter or dollar and just do a cover 4 that should solve that problem pretty easy lol. look around the forums for good ways to run. if you are using one formation to run out of and not do anything else(pass) it will make you predictable. the goal in football is to make the other person think your gonna do something and then just exploit them. good passing will open up your run game.
I am not sure what you mean by your class punt field goal and extra point stuff? can you clear this up maybe?

| im dead serious. Just think. It cant get blocked and the receivers cant get 36 yards downfield. I do it online all the time on 4th and 20s and stuff like that. Try it. It sounds like a joke, but that ish really works. If you drop back in a cover 4 that person might do a 36 yard RC on you, or find a clown route open past your safeties. | |

| yea always always bring heat on 3rd and 12+. WR dont have enough time to get downfield. watch for screens manually and shut those down. thats all u really have to worry about. i'd much rather set up a play where my guys can make a play rather than sit back and wait for him to make a play. you have to have an attacking mentality in madden rather than a passive one. | |

| U def can't telegraph what ur doing. Ppl online know how to stop diff plays so if we see 1wr, 3 te's and you always run or 3wr and you always pass, then you aren't going to get very far....... Matter of fact, I like to run for gains right, left, and up the middle, pass, and PA successfully out of the same formation my first drive. Second drive i like to do the same out of a diff formation........ Another thing you can do is sub a rb or te into the receiver positions to fake out ur opponent. get a 3 wr set and put a te in....now it shows 2 wr 2 te's, etc. | |

4th and crazy long or last play of half or game... i normally run quarter combo 3 deep blitz. it's good for over the top help and quick pressure so the qb doesn't have much time to throw any deep post type plays. plus BnR cause the two outside cb's are in man.

A real simple way is to hot route the recievers. You need two on one side. Hot route outside reciever to an outside slant or fly and inside reciever on a streak. As soon as outside reciever gets beyond the corner playing the flat, bullet pass. Most of the time the ball will get there b4 the safety can make the hit, and if the safety misses you are gone.

| if its 4th and more than 15, a 6 man zone blitz should do the trick, unless he's blocking TE and HB then it can be a problem. | |

lol flats/screens/slants with a decent QB with speed + throw on the run = 6 or 36 yards

lol flats/screens/slants with a decent QB with speed + throw on the run = 6 or 36 yards i trust my user skills with my safety to make a 1-on-1 tackle in the open field. if the clown wants to do a flat pass or slant with 36 yards to go than he can be my guess lol.
