Show Blitz

Showing blitz this year allows you to get a better jump at intercepting a pass and stopping the run. If you show blitz on zone defenses, it seems like your players are quicker and get to their zones faster, and have better awareness.

they actually have better awarness if you show blitz?

cuz on my zones i show blitz, maybe thats why they seem to work so well?

I show bliz alot, and I get lots of interceptions with my linebackers.

yeah i like when they try to quick pass to their slot guy and ur lb is in a zone so they pick that s*** baby!!

yeah noticed that the defense seems to be more alert wen u do show blitz and they get to there zones faster it kinda shuts down hitchs and really shuts down slants...but is it good to blitz out of show blitz?

I just played a game against my brother, I showed blitz/blitzed every play, I had like 2 picks with Linebackers, and around 4 with defensive backs.

part of it I think is they move a lot more into their zones, people you are playing get confused when seeing everyone move around. It messes up your timing with your qb. I try to mix it up so that they dont get used to just seeing one thing every time and get their timing down.

i like to show blitz a lot myself usually on passing downs while using nickel or dime and calling db blitz and zone blitz. I like to keep them guessing as to who is coming next.

showing blitz works great with combo plays. They r excellent for 3rd dwns to.

i think im doin it wrong caus i do it and i be gettin jacked up for some reason i show blitz do a line stunt and jus seems like they can see right through it

i howed blitz for most of a game yesterday and it was my worst game yet. i just cant play defense anymore.

so basicly when i do zone jsut show blitz and ill get more ints..ill see what happens

I show blitz alot when using zones and get pix alot.. I dont show blitz as much when blitzing just to get the qb to rollout... And at times i do both... Seems to work great

i show blitz nearly EVERY play....because....my opponent won't know if it is a genuine blitz...or....if i have people dropping back in coverage.

draw plays work awesome against ppl that show blitz then drop back

i show blitz alot it gets the person nervous to throw a quick pass or a bad pass which could get intercepted

that's a guessing game for the offense Ghost. the offense DOESN'T know if showing fake blitz is a legitimate blitz or not.

I started using this on nearly every play yesterday and my defense has improved a lot...I had two straight shut outs yesterday with a monster number of picks...thanks for everyone's help on this topic

I show blitz a lot lately but ive been burned even in a cover 3 or 4 showing blitz when the other person has had T.O. or Andre Johnson. I never knew Andre was such a beast this year ive actually used houston now against a weaker competiter and won. I learned my lesson though, im not gona show blitz if a person has a stud wr and they love to go deep.

lol! you can still show blitz and just move the Safety a little further back to help in coverage on deep passes.
