Block Punts

It seems like i can get about 2 inches away from blocking the punt when i come out in punt block, but my guy can never block it. When he jumps out to block he seems like he will block it but comes up short.

If you have any tips on how to block a punt please post here.

Same thing happens if you come out in a PR right, left, or middle. If you control the third guy in from the right side you can get in clean, but still come up barely short.
Is it possible to block punts with Punt Block if they are pinned in the endzone?

i heard if u set it up so hester or a sppedster at that spot u can do it

ive blocked a lot wen they are backed to there endzone off punt block...but sometimes i mis em

wht do u use punt block or like left or right

Does anything in the 4-6 work? I heard the 4-6 gets thru on field goals

ya i have labbed this. your opponent must be in max cover not just regualar punt, and you must come out in punt block. have your fastest player on the outside and on the side their is no fullback blocker on and move him up a little. do not go for the dive or jump, just hold down on the turbo and keep running toward the punter. i have blocked probably 20 punts this way

i gotta try to i really have never tried.

it's kinda commen sense for the most part but i never check to mnake sure my fastest player is on the out side because i always thought there is still almost no chance

since u said u've blocked 20 punts i think i'm gunna try it out.

i am pretty sure that the fast dude has to be VERY high speed

ya 97 speed and higher. anything below 96 will never work. Stanford routt on the raiders is good at it

it works for me every once in a while when i put the speedser in the right place...but somtimes i come up jsut barely short

ive only blocked 2 and i didnt do anything special just punt blk and my guys got threw and blocked it.

how often does this work

Ive done it 4 times and blocked 2.. Dont do much though

ive never blocked a punt and it seems like i always come up short too but ill try this out

Im pretty sure u can only block em if they are really backed up.

yea ive only blocked 2 punts and both times they were on their own 1 yrd line punting with no room. i cant figure it out, i just try returning the punt now. i dont even care to try and block the punt anymore.

i have only blocked one punt in this game....sad! lol!

i blocked field goals but its not very consistent...i use either the eagles or cowboys...

how are you blocking them?

I just get the guy in the way back and put em right on the line on top of the center.. He occupies the center while my dt just jumps in and blocks it (for me using the cowboys it always crayton)
