If Saints fans are looking to hang their Super Bowl hopes on a flimsy yet somewhat interesting premise, they should look to that Week 15 loss to the Dallas Cowboys as a positive thing. According to my friends from ESPN Stats & Information, the last three teams that were 8-0 or better when facing the Cowboys, including the '09 Saints, all lost those games.
The good news for Saints fans is that the previous two teams -- the '91 Redskins and '06 Colts -- went on to win the Super Bowl in those seasons. So there you have it. The Week 15 loss to the Cowboys provided the launching pad for a Super Bowl title. And remember, you heard it here first.

| none of that means anything.
we always come up with things brought up in the past like that but truth is it doesnt always happen.
little known fact... every time the Colts dont play the Chargers in the playoffs, they win the super bowl.
so there you have it | |

| well we all forget that the '91 skins and the '06 colts were the both the favorites heading into the superbowl, over the '91 bills and '06 bears. so i dont know if anyone should read anything into this | |
