| Which one is better? What personnel should you have for each? I'm talking about using either for ranked on-line play. What are the best plays from each? | |

| Do you think 4-2-5 is a better book for on-line play? I usually roll with teams with fast DE's or just use the LB ends formation sub. I've been debating between 3-3-5 and 4-2-5. I can create pressure with 3-3-5, but I hear that 4-2-5 is not as risky when it comes to blitzes since you usually have to blitz like crazy to get pressure with the 3-3-5. I like the Cover 0 plays out of 3-3-5 a lot and zone blitzes like Storm red, but the cover 0 plays make me paranoid if I go up against a good passer. Works wonders against run heavy guys though. | |

| Really? I've been more worried about pass coverage out of 3-3-5 playbook than a 4 man set because it's a 3 man rush with pass coverage. When I go up against pass happy guys who are good at it I tend to get crushed with the 3-3-5 but do great against the run. With 4-2-5 I suck against the run but a lot better at the pass. | |

| yea the 4-2-5 is where its at and besides the 4-2-5 defense has the 3-3-5 in it so you should have no issue with it | |

| 4-2-5: 4-2-5 Normal, 4-2-5 Over, 4-2-5 Under, 4-2-5 Bear, 4-4 Split, 5-2 Normal, Nickel Normal, Nickel 3-3-5, Nickel Strong, Dime Normal, Dime 3-2-6, Quarter 3 Deep, Goal Line
3-3-5: 3-3-5 Stack, 3-3-5 Across, 3-3-5 Split, 3-3-5 Bear, 3-4 Under, 5-2 Normal, Nickel Normal, Nickel 3-3-5, Nickel 2-4-5, Dime Normal, Dime 3-2-6, Quarter 3 Deep, Goal Line
If you have a solid front four go with 4-2-5. If you have Sick DE's go 4-2-5. If your strength is your front 3 LB's go with 3-3-5. 3-3-5's strength is based on the ability of the MLB and FS. You can also afford to be a bit more conservative with 4-2-5. | |
